    injection Q

Was reading through some of the injection techniques for further education and I am aware that a needle should never be used twice. My question is, with these interchangeable needles/syringes do people use the same syringe more than once?

You mean use the same barrel or needle? The answer to both is NO! This is the one area I do not take risks with for sure!

They are hermetically sealed for a reason. Unless you are completely steralizing them after each use (I doubt it) then bacteria can form and grow eventually causing an infection. Never re-use anything for an injection....

Don't do this. There is always some left over gear, and the solvents can break down the rubber on the plunger. This can in turn be injected. Pins are so cheap that there is no reason not to use new syringes and needles everytime. This is a risky assertion to say he will be fine doing this. This is poor practice and half a**ed as well.

Repeat never reuse anything after an injection or your asking for an infection.
If your to cheap to buy clean syringes you should not be injecting in the first place
