8 week blast, 2 week cruise?! Ronnie Rowland style

The man advocates blasting for 8 weeks and cruising for 2 weeks, then repeating, or doing pct, anyway how in the **** can you gain again after only cruising for 2 weeks? Don't people usually cruise for the same time they blasted? Or is this method reserved for very advanced bodybuilders who are way above their genetic potential and would lose gains if they only cruised for 2 weeks? I understand that this also goes along with the slingshot training system where you do high volume for 8 weeks and low volume for those 2 weeks but still, is 2 weeks of cruising at say 200mg after a 500mg blast really sufficient to make gains in the second blast? Wouldn't everyone be doing this if this worked good?

For the average recreation AAS user, 6-10 wks with short esters and 10-16wks with long esters, are what i recommend. I would not recommend Ronnie's blast and cruise method to a beginner.

For health reasons or because it would be ineffective for a beginner user?

Possible long term health issues. This is for an advanced user.

20 weeks shut down isn't that bad, I've seen people do cycles that length or longer, I'm asking from a performance standpoint, I've read posts about this and I have seen that you've done this kind of cycling, is it more effective than traditional cycling? Do you gain off the second blast?

Is it more effective? Thats a loaded question and depends on many factors. Again, unless youre not making any gains using standard methods because youve actually outgrown traditional cycles, you dont really require these type of cycles in your "repertoire." Make sure your diet is spot on and you'll continue to make gains.

    Exactly.

Btw, you're looking pretty big there, Cape.
