    adding slin

I need to do a lot more research before I even consider this but I'd like to get started on my research. I can get otc insulin . How do I go about using this without going hypoglycemic though is there a thread on what time of day to do it how much to do warning signs if you do too much it cetera et cetera. I guess basically I'm asking for a introduction thread on how to use insulin. Any such thread exist?

I know what OTC meant. I meant what insulin medication is OTC and not a prescription medication?

I'm pretty sure you need an RX to get humalog. Or at least a source.

I just did a quick search and all insulin analogs require a prescription, but the regular (r) does not in most states. What's the difference? Idk lol

I did a little research too. I guess NPH insulin and regular insulin don't require RXs in most states. It's held behind the counter because it must be kept refrigerated. This is insane though. I mean, a diabetic shouldn't be buying this stuff without a doctor's supervision. They can kill themselves on it.

What's the difference between the regular and analog? From what I see its the regular is longer acting, resembles actual human insulin

OP, insulin blunts lypolysis. Unless I'm mistaken, insulin is mainly used for mass

From what I've been reading, the analogs are just modified forms of insulins that are different than the ones found in nature. I honestly didn't know there were this many different kinds of insulin out there. Some are fast acting, others run slower.

From looking at this, I think any bodybuilder looking to use insulin better do his homework instead of just grabbing a vial of any insulin and shooting it.

I know, that's why I hadn't done it yet. Honestly it's the only hormone that scares me!

U don't have to use hgh with it tho right? They just work synergistically together. Insulin on its own can b beneficial right?
