T3 guru's
Hypothetical...if someone uses T3 for 6-8 weeks, what is the approx amount of time it may take for the thyroid to regulate after T3 use?
If it matters...dosing at 100-125mcg

I read a study, I'll post the link when I find it, where a patient was prescribed T3 for over two years and when they got off they were "normal" within two weeks. I was on T4/HGH for over 4 years and felt not sides when I got off. No study to back up that comment, just my personal experience. I thing T3 use for 6 to 8 weeks is no big deal. Recovery should be transparent.

Almost immediately. A few days maybe.

Is it even worth running at 50mcg/ day on cycle? Or should it be closer to 100/day

Ok. I had planned on running T3 for my test/tren /mast cycle this summer. 50mcg the whole cycle works? Cuz that's all I have on hand. Unless you'd recommend I spring for some extra and run it at 75 or 100 for the 8wks

I am here! Just got back from the gym.
Lunk, the thyroid gland is one of the dumbest endocrine glands in the body. Its very slow to adjust to the negative feedback loop, and its recovery is VERY quick (ESPECIALLY after a small T3 cycle of several weeks or so). There have been some studies conducted in which several patients who were on T3 for THIRTY YEARS were promptly taken off of it, because they were MISDIAGNOSED(!!!) as being hypothyroid 30 years ago when they really weren't. Cessation of exogenous T3 resulted in every test subject's thyroid output return to normal levels within 3 months or something. And remember, this is people on it for half a lifetime. Several weeks of use in the bodybuilding world would have very little effect.
The pattern of thyrotropin secretion was analyzed in seven euthyroid women, before and after withdrawal of long-term thyroid hormone, by serial measurements of thyroid 131l uptake, serum thyroxine, tri-iodothyronine, and thyrotropin concentrations, and the response to thyrotropin-releasing hormone. During exogenous hormone administration, 131l uptake was suppressed, and serum thyrotropin concentrations before and after administration of thyrotropin-releasing hormone were undetectable. After withdrawal of exogenous hormone, thyrotropin secretory function was transiently impaired, as indicated by undetectable basal thyrotropin concentrations together with absence of response to thyrotropin-releasing hormone, and subsequently by normal values of basal thyrotropin concentration and normal responses to releasing hormone while serum thyroxine and tri-iodothyronine concentrations were subnormal. Decreased thyrotropin reserve persisted for two to five weeks. Detectable values of serum thyrotropin (less than 1.2 muU per milliliter) and a normal 131l uptake usually occurred concurrently in two to three weeks. Serum thyroxine concentration returned to normal at least four weeks after hormone withdrawal(1).
These were people who were on thyroid meds for extended long-term periods, which they promptly recovered from within a matter of weeks. Someone here previously mentioned a figure of a matter of days for T3 to return to normal following a typical 8 - 12 week bodybuilder cycle of T3, and I believe that would be about right.
Lunk, you're good to go!
