    That's not normal.

Try boiling your vial for an hour, in case it is bacteria causing the pain. No vent pin or anything.

I'm on week 6 with test E, and have a knot where I pinned for about 5 days now. Doesn't really hurt, but I rub it out all the time and it's barely a little sore. Just curious as why this knot wont go away. Haven't got this before, either.

I'm sure it's just a little knot that will eventually go away?

Do you think a 0.20 micron filter would be better? This is hardly my area of "expertise" but just a thought.

It might, but most guys don't just have those laying around.

Good point. I have read so many different things about how to heat sterilize potentially unsterile gear. I really don't know much about it. How confident are you in the protocol you advised? And what i mean by this is sometimes i can be extremely confident in the advice i give someone and other times still confident but less so - obviously you wouldn't have recommended it if you weren't at least somewhat sure.

Boiling will kill all (conceivable) bacteria, fungi, and viruses, but not endospores. That's what autoclaving is for (and tyndalization if you want to bother).
