does dutasteride help while on tren or var

Just wondering if dutasteride helps with mpb with these compounds. I was on a tren/test e/masteron cycle and using finistride and at about the 11th week hair loss started rapidly occurring.

Just wondering if I was using dutasteride if that would have blocked the hair loss for the tren and the other compounds which cause mpb in this way.

Other threads have suggested that Dutasteride will block test from becoming DHT. DHT does cause MPB. The mechanism by which test becomes DHT is blocked by Duta but will not affect Mast since it is already a DHT. Hence, Mast can still cause MPB. I think tren has a different pathway through which it causes MPB and therefore Duta is ineffective with regard to Tren.

Anavar is in the DHT class as well.

It won't help with any of those. The only thing it will really help with is test.

11 weeks of tren is overkill

although most of what you said is true, the part about dht derivatives isn't. Just because it is dht derived doesn't mean it will cause mbp. Such is the case with anavar. It is dht derived but VERY safe for the hair line, probably the safest.

@OP - Dropping the mast might help as that seems to be the #1 killer of hair among AAS. If that doesn't help then the next to go would be tren. Neither mast nor tren. I suggest picking up spiro from ar-r. Not only does it stop dht from binding to the scalp, but it also stops strong androgens like tren from doing so.
