Returning to Fit
Ok so in my mid thirties I cycled with some success but got injured and stopped working out. I lost most of what I had gained and I am now in my mid forties. I know it's going to take longer to get to what I had and that diet is essential my questions is this. What can I expect at my age now basically starting over. I currently take .5ml physician prescribed testosterone every week but I know that's not going to be enough to get me where I want to be, so how much more while I possibly need to get me to where I want. I have never been super ripped and would like to have that as my goal but baby steps first. Any advise would be appreciated.

Welcome LoneDevil. Good to have you here.
You can have great success at your age. First things first however, body fat percentage needs to come down. 20% isn't super high, but it does come with amplified side effects when higher than TRT doses are administered. This also makes it difficult to manage estrogen.
The good news is, you're not that far off. Since you've been injured, I assume you're only recently back in the gym. If that's the case, I would consider spending quite a bit more time there to get yourself back into a rhythm.
That said, I would focus on your cardio efforts and moderate lifting for now. Most importantly however, your nutrition. I suggest you have your current diet evaluated by our pro's in the nutrition section. They will help you reach your goals effectively and efficiently.
Like you said... baby stepsBest of luck to you!

Thank you so very much for that info and I will look around and try to find the nutrition section (if I can, this site can be a bit confusing to start lol) anyway yes just now starting back up at the gym after a long hiatus my diet, I have to admit has been crappy hence my weight gain and my cardio def needs work which is a priority and I know will help contribute to getting fit and trimming down. I used Sustanon 250 in my mid thirties and it worked well for me but I lost most of what I had gained after I stopped working out, so I'm researching what will be the most beneficial for me at my current age and condition. Thanks again for the info.
