is it still easy to overtrain when using steroids ????????
so next cycle il be using 600mg test & 600mg deca and i wanted to know if i can get away with training some body parts twice a week ? my main lagging muscles are bi's & tri's so want to try hit them twice a week
something like
mon: chest/tris
tues:back/bi's
wed: legs
thurs: delts & traps
friday: bi's/tri's/forearms
sat: legs ( depending how i feel may take the weekend off )
could you get away with hitting every body part twice a week with this cycle ??? say

tue: bi's/tri's
wed: legs/delts
thurs: chest/back
fri: bi's/tri's
sat: legs/delts

Its difficult to over train your muscles - its not as easy as some people think. Training mucsle groups twice per wk is fine as long as your routine provides adequate rest for each muscle between workouts - yours does. You'll be fine. Good luck.

you can. but i have never seen a person can do delts after heavy leg workout. after leg workout im shot i can barely crawl to the car and drive home....
delts is exhausting as well so i cant imagine doing them after each other. you must be superman to have such energy

legs require alot of work. IMO , look at pro's workout in off season
leg extenstion
hack squat
leg press
squat
leg curls
lunges
stiff leg deadlift
and calves....
thats ALOT
i didnt start working on legs until last year and i have been doing all this twice a week and my legs added so much muscle i gained 10+ LBS only on legs i would assume cuz it grew alot...

Is it still possible to over stress the tendons, but not the muscle due to ovr training? I'm having a situation where my forearm/elbow/bicep tendons get way sore long before any muscles get wore out. Bums me out

Overtraining is MENTAL in 99% of cases. Meaning you overtrain your CNS not your muscles. On steroids , it would be damn near impossible to overtrain a muscle group imo, but you can still certainly get mentally worn out if you're lifting too intense everyday with no rest days. I do:
Chest and arms
Legs
back and delts
rest
repeat
And I find this to be a damn near optimal formula to maximize muscle and strength gains without burning out.

This is true
Overtraining is a CNS thing not muscular..... You don't just do 25 sets for chest and then the next day wake up overtrained...
Go too hard for too long and you 'could' OT your CNS
Training everything twice per week is fine, just stay away from failure and maybe only go to failure for one set per exercise...
From what I have read/ heard it is more optimal than a once a week high intensity bashing.... Again, from what I have heard from layne norton the data and knowledge in the scientific community has shown repeatedly that a higher training frequency and higher volume are closer to optimal vs a lower frequency and higher intensity for muscle hypertrophy....
I do love HIT training... The speed of it, the overall feel but is it optimal, probably not based on what I hear from professionals (and I'm not talking bodybuilder a lol)

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure laynes talking about muscle hypertrophy....
Again don't quote me (because I don't want to have to search the net to back myself up lol) but a higher frequency will also be closer to optimal for strength (when periodized deloads and implemented)...
So both hypertrophy (size) and strength...

I've read some things which suggest it could be beneficial to lift in the higher rep range, occasionally, range to avoid overtraining. So, over a two week period (or longer) you could make one of those revolutions (thurs: chest/back, fri: bi's/tri's,
sat: legs/delts) a de-load day.

Or, make one of those days higher rep and alternate.

Per CT fletcher - there's no such thing as over training.

I thought overtraining led to injuries?
Sounds like it's more of a mental fatigue?

I'd worry more about undertraining/undersleeping!
