having bad reaction to Test E. Need advise.

I've been cycling Test E and Test Prop for many years. I'm 48 years old, male, 235lb. My maintenance cycle is 300mg test E and 100mg test prop per week. Test prop has occasionally caused some painful, inflamed injection sites but when mixed with Test E or B12 it's tolerable. Recently though, I started on blood pressure medication (Lisinopril-HCTZ) and now I am reacting very bad to even the Test E. Large swelling painful, hot injection sites and I feel VERY sick and weak with a fever for at least two days. The swelling goes down after about 4 or 5 days. At first I thought I might have gotten a bad batch of test but then after experimenting with my BP meds, stopping several days before a new injection of test, I've determined its the BP meds causing the problem. Not sure what I should do. I'm not ready to give up my HRT and I need the BP medicine. A quick internet search says the BP meds are not known to cause problems with test.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

What do you mean maintenance dose? how often are you injecting the prop?

Have you tried switching UGLs/brand as opposed to just stopping the medication to see if "bad batch" on the test like you said? I cannot see any issues between testosterone naturally occurring in the body and a hypertension med. We do know extra testosterone can reduce blood coagulation hence its contraindication for use with warfarin.

Thank you for the response. I have not tried a new brand and think that is probably a good idea. Mine is from a small UGL that I've been using for a long time, but it is certainly possible they're having some quality control issues.
