First cycle input?
Hey-
New member about to begin my first trial with aas.
About me: I'm 27 years old and have been exercising consistently since my late teens- always active- never fat- muscular since 13ish. Been involved with martial arts for about seven years, had cage fights and fought in competitive grappling and kickboxing many times. Had a stint of two years or so of cross fit and took away a love of olympic lifting. I have a kick- ass gym in my garage with olympic lifting equipment, gymnastics rings, and a row machine to name a few of my toys.
Why cycle: I got my testosterone checked and it was 321 the first time and 418 the second. I am quite unsatisfied with those numbers as I work extremely hard in the gym and want to see better results. I don't want trt long term and I intent to do a cycle- and maybe two if I decide later. Muscle gain and good habits are my goals. I'm currently 5'11" and 190- body fat- unknown, but pretty lean, I'd guess somewhere between 10 and 12%.
First Cycle: Ten weeks of the following: 250 Testosterone Enanthate and 400 Equipoise . I have clomid for PCT. I know it's somewhat of a shorter cycle for EQ but thats what I've ordered for now and want to see how my body performs. Just waiting for my gear to get here to begin. I will be injecting twice a week to keep my levels very stable- maybe not necessary with the longer acting esthers but I'm gonna do it anyhow. Any suggestions or comments are very welcome! Thanks.

I am hard believer of TEST ONLY as first couple cycles.

First cycle should just testosterone . Will you be injecting 250mg a week? How about your AI? Have you considered running HCG ?

I'll be doing 250 a week, I know that's on the conservative side- but I want to take it easy, after all, it's my body for life! I won't be running an AI just because of the low level of T and also the cost. I know it's best to just do T but I also know it's not that radical for a first cycle.

You will not gain anything on 250mg a week. 250 will put you slightly over natural production. Run at least 450mg. You might also want to bump it up to 12-14 weeks but make sure you run HCG

Your natural test is around 5-7mg/day.
I know a lot of people that did 250-350mg/week as their first cycle and loved the results!!!

Hey man,
250 will not do much other than shut your natural production down. TRT is in most of our futures, If you don't want to be on TRT so soon, a safer bet is to include hCG . If you're wanting to cycle, take that to 400mg for 12 weeks and forget the EQ, that compound is garbage. You need an AI, it must be used on cycle. Your PCT should consist of both clomid and tamox.
Best of luck.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

A good one like cycle assist of n2guard is essential on cycle... Cholesterol, Bp, water retention, overall health.... That's what it'll do. Regulation of lots of things. Even though low dose test for 10-14 weeks isn't major. Still aids cycle. Of Dont spend the 20-40 bucks Bucks. Always safe than sorry. But what do I knos

Appreciate the input so far, not gonna do hcg though. This is a low dosed cycle and I feel like I should bounce back pretty well. My friends who have cycled haven't done this and seem to be doing great. Clomid on hand and think I'll stick with that.

Do the hcg . Your testes will lose sensitivity to your pituitary signal. The longer you're shutdown, the harder to recover it will be. Wont make it impossible, but why wouldnt u take something if it will help? Especially since its relatively cheap.
If you don't want to cycle repeatedly and eventually go on trt, go see an endo and perhaps they can bump your natty levels. After cycle you will try to recover your natural test and it most likely wont go above where you are now. Meaning most your gains will eventually fadeLast edited by OnTheSauce; 05-03-2013 at 08:20 PM.

I didn't just disregard what was said...I listened and made an informed decision- just because I'm not taking your advice doesn't mean that I'm necessarily wrong. Do you follow everything that you're told? It seems that no one can ever agree on these forums about what you should or shouldn't do on cycle and off and what gets results and what doesn't.

Wow....you ask for advice and these people who have been through all this give you this very valuable knowledge and you won't listen. I hope your "informed decision" works out for you. I am just starting out with this stuff too and learning all I can but I do know that these people in this forum are more informative than 95% of the doctors out there. Good Luck.
