    Exclamation I just had a nurse friend of mine give me my 2nd ever shot, and all she had was 18g!!

    Holy shit...what a difference from the 22g I used before! And a silly question...if spot injections make certain areas grow...am I gonna have a huge ass?

    I do have to say that with the 18g, it went MUCH faster...I may try it again next time....

    Rookie cycle:
    QV Test Enanthate 250mg
    1cc every 5 days for 10 weeks....
    Then I finish off my animal goop and switch to my Rx...Upjohn Test E 200mg...hehehe

    Dude go to the pharmacy and get some smaller pins. I wouldnt shoot myself with an 18g if my life depeneded on it

    18ga? Christ allmighty...

    Dunno about you but being injected with something the size of a sewer pipe doesn't quite thrill me

    Get a 23ga, injects more than fast enough, and doesn't leave a gaping hole the size of the grand canyon in your glute.

    ...mine is looking rather large since starting to do 3 shots/week for the last 4 weeks. I look like I've got a "bubble butt" ...for real, after a bad shot, you'll swell up wherever you inject. In my experience though, things return to normal soon after you stop.

    Doctors like big needles...I had a script for enanthate and they came pre-loaded with 18g needles. I asked for pins and they said to use the one's that came with the test. HAHA, yeah right...

    Like Rickson said - not a good gauge if you plan on injecting more than... umm... once a month... too much scar tissue will build up. Pretty soon it will be like sticking a 2 by 4...

    In all honesty...it was rough, but I knew that after I had taken the "cannon"...going back to the 22g would be like shootin insulin pins! When I had my 1st one (a 22g) I bitched like a little girl...now I know when to bitch! 22's will be a breeze now! And point (pun intended) taken about scar tissue...thanks for the replies!

    i did almost my entire first 12 week cycle with 18g, didn't seem that painful at the time. but that was 5 years ago when i didn't know any better. now i do 25g in the thigh every day. i cant even feel it, and half the time there's not even a drop of blood when i pull the pin out.

    18ga. isn't a needle, it's a trocar!

    The important thing, if you're going to use a pin that size, is that you remember to run your pinky up through the bore first--to make sure no birds have made nests in there.

    If you EVER see a nurse coming at you with one of those things, ask her how SHE'D like it shoved into her?

    No thanks, I will stick to the ole 23 gaugers for glutes, never have any problems, 18 gauger is like sticking yourself with a harpoon!!!!!!! Man I use 18 gauge's to draw only, I would never stick myself with an 18 gauge, call me a chicken, but I am like Rickson, scar tissue build up, with a larger pin is likely.
    BTW site injections won't make that muscle grow anymore than an injection anywhere else, that is a myth.
