Hello All! Well, I'm 40, 6 foot, 195 lbs and around 22% BF. I'm a former college basketball player, Jr Olympic volleyball player and now a serious golfer. i have hovered at 185 lbs most of my adult life. 2 knee surgeries slowed me down and I put on some weight (205 at max). I have fully recovered and am fully active once more. I have friends (baseball players) who use Anavar . I am about to start my first ever cycle and I am excited. I've been researching and have read up on the pros/cons. I'm looking to help trim some visceral fat and add a little lean muscle, not at all bulk up. I'm a golfer now so size isn't what I'm looking for. I eat clean and have worked out my entire life but trimming fat has become more and more difficult.
My main question is the recommended dosage and increases. I've been told to do 10mg a day for the first week, 20/day second week, 30/day third week then cycle back down in reverse for a six week total cycle.
I know that an Anavar only cycle is a "hot button" topic so I welcome all feedback. My wife will also be doing this with me and we'll push each other through the workouts and meal plans.
Amazing to see the fluctuating and varied opinions and testimonials but that's what makes this site great...
