Torn Distal Tendon of the Bicep !!! should i stop ? ?

Torn Distal Tendon of the Bicep !!! What to do ?
i was doing pull down lad excerizes and heart it rip .
Went straight to emergency and ultrasound was performed and signs where a torn tendon .
been put in a slin and 2 days later its nice black and blue,
one week from now ill be seeing a sergean for sports .
to find out excactly i need to do an MRI .
been working out for years .
now im 50 and on gear . should i stop the gear im on week 5 and just cruize till this is all over ?? or stay on it ?
bruis is not bad in the picture but today i have lots more bruising

You can still train legs but Probally best to stop. It will be some time before that repair will be ready for any heavy work. Even then I would not jump
Right back on gear. This happens often as the muscles become
Stronger than the attachments.

I'd stop. You could always do some light lower body exercises or cardio. Other than that, I wouldn't advise doing anything else as you could potentially exacerbate your injury.

IMO..... I am recovering from double shoulder surgery to include both bicep tendons L bi is at 12 months and R bi is at 4 months he repaired and reattached tendon on both sides and they feel great..... Most important advice I can give you is follow the doctors advice to the letter, my doctor has done both my knees and I have followed his advice and rehab plan and I am running with triple tear of knee tendons, my biceps feel better then ever and are stronger than before....as for the cycle it is better to stop as you will have to be under for the surgery and blood pressure could be an issue...good luck

Never train and injured body part.

All my injuries are from service related....jumping out of good planes does the body BADDDDD

obviously you can't train your arms anymore. do you even have strength to flex your elbow?

gear-wise, you probably should drop to trt dose. you may require surgery, so going off completely may not be a good idea too. you dont want to be dealing with low test during recovery from surgery.

I can twist lift huge coffee cup full and grip perfect . I did the abb machine which I could grab both handles . I have a feeling it's partial tear cusse I still have strength in for arm and hand . Still needs
MRI to determine full or partial tear . This really sucks . Guess ill quit the gear and cruise since I'm in week five and easy drop out with pct after surgery if I need one
