AAS Gear and HRT

Here is a question from a person who is new to both...
Doctor is putting me on 400 mg Test E per week for HRT.
It is a one time shot each week.

How does this differ from using AAS gear to work out with?

Can you use gear while on HRT Test?

Will the HRT injections act the same as if I was injecting EOD?

and yes 400 ew is alot, shit thats normally full cycle dose, you cant run that much year round and cycle on top of it.

and once a week is odd considering the half life.

400 is not trt. That's a cycle 200 is the high end if trt

Your doctor is an idiot. that's basically a cycle dosage not HRT. Normal HRT dosage is around 100mg per week. Visit the HRT forum and read up before this guy hurts you. HRT is for the long haul, not short term and it's completely different than cycling. And yes, you can cycle on HRT but it should only be done after being completely dialed in and stable on your protocol. This is based on blood work, not how you feel.

Probably not the protocol he suggested. I recommend you call him and clear this up asap. I've never seen a doc prescribe 400mg weekly.

Before you make the call, visit the HRT forum and read all the stickies. Self-education is key here. First and foremost make sure you are properly diagnosed. Just because you currently have low T does not mean it's not correctable. It can easily be caused by an ancillary issue that if corrected will bring you back to normal. Too many docs slap people on T when it's not necessary. Take charge of your health and don't be a lemming. If the doc can't tell you why you have low T go to another one.

And if this guy even remotely suggests that amount either weekly or once a month, run.....

Once a week shoud feel fine. That is the half-life, so you'll never bottom out.

If he'll let you dose it yourself at home just stockpile that stuff until your ready for a cycle. If he wants to give you 400mgs at the office then find another doc. Hell, you might want to find another one anyway. After you build a stash of course. lol.

I am on 200 mg. a week from my doc. Have been for 3 years! And I had to do some fancy foot work to get the full cc per week!
Also, I will tell you, they offer a once a month and a bi weekly! They gave me the choice, and I inject myself, I don't go in but once a year in August to check my blood work! So your fine with the once a week!

Almost forgot, I also cycle on and off as I always have, with other stuff! I just go back to my 1 cc a week, on my off cycle times! Right now I'm bumping the test up to 800 a week, and adding in 600 mg. of EQ for example!
