You know I have been using 1 inch for deltoids in the past, but that just seems too long. I am wondering if I should use half inch or 3/4 inch pin. I just think 1 inch would like hit the bone. I don't think I ever have, but just seems long. Because the deltoid muscle is not near as big as your glute.
What do you guys think?

1" is fine for delts...
I find if you don't stick a needle in the whole way, once you have aspirated the chances of that needle being in the same spot is rather low, I did come up with something to prevent this if you can't go out and get smaller pins, what I used to do with my 1.5 for my thighs is I would take an old needle cap, I would then cut off the desired ammount off the top of the cap leaving the ammount of needle you wish to pin with exposed, you can then push all the way to the skin with out the risk of pulling pushing the needle in and out while injecting.

1 inch 23g is my choice for delts. Go smaller if needed, then when you put some meat on them bones move back up to 1". I do my hcg in my delts and test e in my glutes, using 1.5 inch 23g.
