    Prostate.

Just a quick Q, anyone had any negative effects on the prostate with test, and is there anything you can take to lessen the risk. Dickster.

sometimes, with us older bulls, the prostate may enlarge temporarily. There are otc prostate meds that can help alleviate this.

there are foods that aggravate the prostate that you may consider avoiding, such as caffeine.

Try pygeum and saw palmetto. A bunch of people will say saw palmetto is useless but my PSA is consistently at .4 or less. I take both daily.

Cialis will help with BPH if that becomes a concern. 5mg PO qd, prophylactically.

Common symptomatic signs are frequent urination, difficulty voiding (peeing), weak stream, intermittent stream (urine starts and stops), incomplete voiding (urine secretion in under pants after you've stopped).

BW for PSA will indicate possible prostatitis, BPH, or prostate cancer. DRE and TRUS are more definitive tests.

I never had an enlarged prostate even when i had prostrate cancer.Androgen will speed up the growth of the cancer,ADT is part of the treatment for the cancer,it will shut your test production down to almost nothing and your prostrate will shrink in size so treatment can be more refined to and is a smaller target. My PSA was 11.4 before treatments and is .01 now. I never had any issues with my prostrate and was never enlarged....
