    What makes a good base?

I see some people on here that are 5'11 160 pounds that look like they have been going to the gym a year at most doing a cycle. I am 21 6'4 238 pounds and have been training for 4 years very hard. I really want to do my test e cycle. What's the advantage of having a good base?

Too young man but to answer you will see much better results considering diet and traing are optimal. Less bf% usually means less e the test will convert to in your body. And if your big naturally you know what your doing more than the skinny guy starting test cuz he want to gain. But do alot of research befor you think about aas. Mostly on your age.

From what I've read, having high bf can increase the probability of negative sides occurring. A strong base also implies a level of lifting and nutrition knowledge. I've also heard that you'll shrink less post-cycle if you're building on a good base, but I don't know how true this is.

I started out as a skinny guy. I was 175 maybe when I started.
I am probably at 14 percent body fat. Not too sure I am not really interested in being shredded I just want strength and mass. Thanks for the advice guys. I don't want to wait but I know you guys know your stuff. I'll post pics
