    Second Week?

    I am 32 years old
    6'0
    I started at 217 now i am 226
    started at 17% body fat
I am down to 14% body fat

I am taking 450mg or 225mg twice a week along with novadex. I started two weeks ago and gained 9 pounds dropped 3% in body fat and my strength has soared through the roof. Now, I had a good base with to start with I was 217 and working out 3-4 days a week for the past 4 years. Could this be the reason I have taken off so quickly? 9 pounds in two weeks seems crazy to me. I am wondering If I should cut it to a 8 week cycle instead of a 12 week cycle because I have made such tremendous gains?

    mg, not ML.

That's just water weight and something tells me your BF reading/method is not accurate.

Yes I meant MG. They do the gauging at the gym, I just go by what they tell me.

If you don't mind spending a little money for accuracy, consider looking up a bodpod in your area for an assessment. Nothing else at the gym is accurate.

God, it irritates the shit out of me when I see the trainers at my gym give a machine that looks like a video game controller to new members. The members hold it out in front of them, and it "magically" tells them what their body fat percentage is. Shit is ridiculous.

I've been a member for four years. They use a skin fold caliper as well.

I always wanted to get a dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scan.

Do you know what type of test they use? 7-site skin fold test? 9-site? If they are able to accurately use the calipers, then 9-site skin fold tests are quite accurate. It is definitely more accurate than the machine I was talking about before.
