I'm 53, been training 20 years plus, thinking of my first cycle, test e on its own. Can anybody help I have slightly raised blood pressure 140/90 it is not always this high but sometimes goes slightly higher, also I am a mild asthma sufferer, not bad enough for that I need treatment, will test have significant impact on this, thanks DIckster.

I would keep an eye on it. Try eating cleaner,,watch sodium and up your water intake.

Same age group as you take meds for BP DIET AND CARDIO will keep it in check. Asthma is usually no issue know your triggers as usual keep a rescue inhaler on hand. Post up your cycle and stats. That way we can make sure your on the right track.

THanks for good advice, started 20 odd years ago, only ever did oral tbol 30 mg for 5 weeks, was thinking of test e only, 200 to 250 twice a week.
Started out at 138 lbs now 182 but 20% body fat, so will need to loose a good 10 lbs before starting, diet is back on track, and upping cardio.
Reason for test only is cause new to this, want to stay safe, at 53 I think I need a boost, recovery is taking longer.

I stick to mainly compound exercises, squats, deads, rows, presses, without the use of AS I find arms only need a few sets here and there, chins seem to work my biceps enough and presses take care of triceps, I find if as I get older the more I cut down the stronger I get, although I am not at all genetically gifted, thanks, Dickster

Take a look at this thread. This helped me lower moderately high bp to normal levels. Not to mention many other positive health benefits..

Hi dickster. I'm 10yrs behind you in age but my bp was in the same range, a little higher actually. I've been taking metoprolol xr 50mg/day for 2yrs and just got my diet and training back in check after a 10yr layoff during which I drank a lot (not water) and wasn't watching my health at all.

6 mos back in the gym, cut most salt out of my foods and am taking 5mg 2x day cialis for the last 2 mos. Bp is now around a consistent 130/80 which isn't great but much lower than before. Also look into these threads:

    http://forums.steroid.com/supplement...erbs-more.html

    http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...pplements.html

Good info on supplements to increase vascularity, help with bp, etc. I'm using many of these tips over the past few months and will continue to refine it with the goal of getting off the meds.

    GL to you

Hawthorne berry is supposed to help bp as well. Not sure how effective it is but it can't hurt to throw in, plus it's natural.

the relevance of having asthma is that you can't use beta-blocker in the treatment of your BP. using cialis should be ok provided you don't have any heart condition that require you to take nitrates. but i suggest you start at just 5mg ed to see how you react.
