    High Liver Values Post-Cycle

I finished my second cycle of test P @ 500mg per week about 2 months ago and just got post cycle bloodwork results back saying my liver count is high. I thought things would have returned to normal by now so I'm a bit concerned. I've done two cycles now both of test only but my doc doesn't know.

Could something else be the cause of these high values? I don't drink much alcohol but have been using clen lately and Mesomorph pre workout but other than this, nothing out of the ordinary.

Any thoughts or advice from anyone in the know would be great.

    Cheers
    BK

Can you list the numbers with reference ranges?
Did you get bloods drawn within a few days of an intense workout?

Hey Bonaparte, I should've written down the values but from memory one reading was 42 when the max should 35. Does this sound right? I work out at least 5 times a week so yes, blood was taken less than 24 hours after an intense workout. Can this have some bearing on liver values?

I've got a script for more bloodwork so should I have a rest from gym for a few days beforehand?

    Thanks for your help.

    You're fine.
    I wouldn't bother getting retested.
Exercise inflates liver enzyme numbers because muscles, when damaged/worked, secrete the same enzymes as the liver under strain.
If you want an accurate reading, take a week off and rest up before your bloodwork.

Thanks bro. I been training pretty hard lately so I might take a few days off and see what this second test comes back with.

If my ALT and AST are less than 60 I don't worry about it.

I think my doc is going to extremes. He wants me to be checked for hep immunity and even have an abdominal scan. Maybe I should just tell him I've been on gear lol.

Free ultrasound scan and hep status, yes. Telling your doc about using gear, I wouldnt.

I wasnt serious about telling him. I went to 3 doctors before I got one that would run the required bloodwork, citing libido issues. Good news is test levels came back good and everything is fine except the liver values. I'm going to take Sunday to Friday off lifting and have the blood sample taken on Friday and see if this makes any difference to the elevated levels.

    Thanks for the advice boys.
