Was recently tested for gear.

Former Army been working out consistently for 13 years. New to gear and day 2 already having issues.

Whats up everyone. If im posting this in the wrong place please let me know. I'm in desperate need of an answer. Hope I dont offend anyone. Ok my question is, I was on Anavar for 2 days and got the heads up that we were about to get tested. I know some will disapprove of a Var only cycle. (yes my job tests for gear) I had a 11 day gap from last dose (80mg a day) to piss in the cup. I know the half life is 8-9 hrs so the Var its self should have been gone, but every thing I have researched says it takes 3 weeks for the metabolites to clear but thats for a complete cycle, not just 2 days right? Just realize where im comming from at this moment, I feel like im about to get fired. Am I over reacting? Thank you for your time.

The detection time for VAR is 3weeks IMO.

Ive heard of companies drug testing, thats a common one. I havent heard of any company that specifically tests for AAS. I was under the impression that these needed to be tested via a blood test, as they're hormones, they effect relevant blood levels.

If it was just a piss test then no worries, they are not testing for aas. Almost no one test for aas except for sports because of $$$

YES! You can detect steroids through a urine test!!!!!!

Really? You still need to specifically check for it though? Same with Rec drugs, there is no simple method, they have to test for individual drugs seperately.

Yes...it is a specific test and yes it is several hundred to perform.

Agree with Krugerr. Also, the cost associated with testing for AAS is quite expensive. If you work for a company that has 100's of employees, it would be a substantial cost.

Thanks for the responses. I guess ill just be worried until I hear something. No news will be good news. Im not sure what kind of test it is. I know its a piss test and they DO test it for gear. Now weather its for specific types of gear or just to see if the testosterone levels are elevated I have no idea. But my main question is just being on it for 2 days shouldnt take 3 weeks to clear right? Also Var reduces test levels right? I was able to piss like 10 times before i gave them my sample. It wasnt crystal clear but close some color to it and had a smell due to all the creatine I take.

It can take UP TO 3 weeks for the metabolites to drop below detectable levels. Since you didn't get that much var into your system, you may be fine.

Ya thats what I figured the UP TO part not a single dose and its an automatic 3 weeks. Back in my teens I smoked weed on Friday and passed a test on a Monday, so I do believe its how long you are ingesting it. I suppose I will be the lab rat on this adventure. I will know in a few weeks. Ill let you guys know what happens regardless. Guess its 50/50. Thanks for the input.

I can almost guarantee its a narcotics test, not an aas test. YOu would be blood test if that was the case.

Why? Metabolites are detectable longer in urine than blood.

Not to mention that drug tests are designed to use urine since the law allows for ppl to refuse blood tests due to religious beliefs.

Religion (jehovah's witness) is against donating and/or replenishment. Blood can go to waste.

The only religion has anything to do with blood is Jehovah's. Every Islamic country has blood drives. They even organize them here in the US.

ITS A GEAR TEST. I have been doing this job for 4 years they say WE ARE TESTING YOU FOR GEAR. The narcotics test goes into a cup that tells them instantly. The OTHER sample you give meaning you give 2 samples goes to a lab where its tested for GEAR

They said "gear" specifically weird term for someone that doesn't use it or know about it lol usally they say tested for steriods i thought.Also if you think just because they send it to a lab it's for aas that incorrect mine sends it out every time I'm sry but it cost too much for companies to test for aas. There is no liability on the companies for them that's one of the reason why companies do drug tests the liability factor. I work for a very very big companies and drug tested every 3 months and never heard of a thing.

It is not for aas. As everyone said it costs a fortune and only want to know about narcotics and other street drugs. Yes one sample is tested with a stick test which tell them if something is up. The lab tests it to make it legal and no mistake. You are worried for nothing. ...crazy mike

Yes its a steroid test. Im looking at the form they gave me after I took it and it says STEROIDS on it. But thats not the question I have I know what im getting tested for. My question was, I was on Var for 2 days got the heads up about the test stopped 10 days later got tested. Yes I know everything on the net says 3 weeks to clear. But that data is assuming you complete a full cycle correct? not just 2 days. Thanks again

No worries Mike. Its just a waiting game now I suppose. I do know where its going all that information is on the form thought about having a female friend call and say she suspects her son is on steroids and she wants to get him tested and have her ask if they check for a wide spectrum of steroids or to just see if the test levels are elevated. I would think my company would choose whatever is cheaper. That being just to see if the levels are elevated. Got some long days of waiting ahead of me. Deny deny deny make counter accusations.

That is the question of the day because I could have easily done it they didnt even watch me, just stood behind me while I was in the stall. I just figured only being on it for 2 days with 10 days clean I would be fine.

Military and ALL florida law enforcement have piss tests for steroids at random times. I started Trt and went from 165 to 205 in 4 months and I got tested 3 months straight.

I love lamp, peanut butter, unicorns. I dont see how that contributes to anything. Also I was in the Army for 9 years yes they do random drug testing but no they dont test for steroids . UNLESS it is suspected and then if you are not a sh1t bag it gets swept under the carpet.
