Why do old school body builders look better than pros now?
You look at arnold, frank Zane, Steve reeves, they all have a sucked in stomach look, it looks more natural and appealing I think, and I think most people would agree. I've heard rumors it's all thanks to human growth that everyone now looks like a balloon. Thoughts?

Less drugs were around back then. Synthol, HGH, peptides, etc have changed the game forever.

I wonder if Tom Platz had taken Arnold's place, you'd have more squat racks in a gym than benches.

So you guys think Arnold ate way less than guys do now, this equates to smaller guts.

Ok, so I think we can all agree it is due to the increase in the useage of AAS and using GH.
Additionally, the population of blokes in the body builder world seems to have increased. Shit, when I was growing up as a kid, seldom did a see a grown up male that really looked ripped. Now, this observation can be expressed as a % of the population as a whole.
The thing I sometimes think of, is if AAS/GH were somehow to "go away". How many would lose interest and no longer work out? And of those that remained and continued in the life, what would they look like?
I'm thinking there would be a significant exodus, and the population of blokes that work out would diminish.
Even as a kid, I worked out because I enjoyed it. Not primarily because I thought it made me look good.
Nowadays, I'm thinking there is a significant portion that only do it to look good. And maybe this is why we get so many kids here thinking that with steroids , they can get ripped by summer?
