    Test levels, libido, erections

Hi, I have a question, something that I am sort of confused about which doctors seem to not understand. I am 22 and have low T (I have posted before about my situation) but I can still have sex and get an erection. My libido/desire/passion is definitely lower than before, but it is not gone. Because of this, my doctor wasn't concerned about my low T (low 300's). But I have been reading that erections and ED related issues aren't necessarily because of low T. You can have normal T and have ED, and can have Low T and no ED?

Also, unrelated, but can someone point me in the direction of where to find good information on the relationship between testosterone and estrogen, from a ratio perspective?

I have reached out to a hormone specialist and am getting more blood work Monday, and he is testing EVERYTHING, including an ultra senstitive Estradiol test, which my other doctor would not test. I just want to make sure I am educated before I see him so I can ask the right questions, and be prepared. Thanks all, you're super helpful.

Yes. You can have low T and still maintain an erection. Lots of reasons, nerve damage, blood flow, etc... Getting an erection doesn't mean you're firing on all cylinders.

Well if you complained about something and it was completely ignored, I'd seek another doc. Simple.

Do you not get an erection at all, or just during sex?

I did find another doctor , I am seeing a specialist soon, and from what I read and our conversation on the phone, he seems like he is willing and able to help...I can get an erection without my girlfriend present, but it just takes longer than before..my desire/libido is down, but while Im with my girlfriend I still want to have sex...just not AS much...used to be able to 4-5 times a day, now 2 max....and I noticed I can't last as long as I used to...does that say anything?

Sounds possibly psychological. Let us know what the new doc says.

well this started about a week into taking a prohormone (Arime Stage 5 PCT), which I talked about in a different thread a couple weeks ago. Im assuming my low test is related to my libido being lowered.

You might just need a decent restart. Just talk to your doc and keep us posted.
