Have it tested again in 2-3 weeks. If it is persistent then it may be worth worrying about but if it's temporary it could be from a number of diff. things including stress and heavy physical activity.

I'll get it checked again in 2 weeks. Is the reading 30 high or low ? Ive never had protein in my urine in the past even when i was taking in around 500g a day...im using 500mg test enth a week and 50mg of var a day im guessing it must be one of these thats causing it

It is high for a random test but again..many factors can effect the test including stress, high bp and strenuous exercise. I don't know if the AAS will have any effect or not.

I would do the re-test and if the levels are still high then a BUN and creatine test for kidney function may be in order. Before testing make sure you have not been doing anything strenuous for 24 hours.

In regards to a random test with both a urine dipstick and a complete urine microscopy, 30 is not a bad number for protein. Trace protein up to 30 is still considered "normal". A lot of the time, it can mean you are either not drinking enough water, which raises your specific gravity and increases the values of almost everything they test for, or you are taking too much protein which causes your kidneys to filter out the excess. It is *usually* not a big deal, though that doesn't mean you shouldn't keep your eyes on it in the future. Have it tested at least once or twice more while on cycle and again when you're off. If the number continues to increase, you may have a problem.
