Dont always trust the docs in the ER!

Hello. So during the 2nd week of my second cycle, I began to feel funny sensations in my left chest region. So I went to the ER the following day and got an ECG to decide whether or not to stop my cycle. I also got chest x rays. The doctor then came to me 20 minutes later and said "Your heart is thick, were going to send you to a follow up clinic to see a cardiologist". I was shocked. Am I really suffering from a heart condition?... So the following week, this Tuesday precisely, I went to see the cardiologist. Told him absolutely everything I've taken down to the last detail. He then looked at the EXACT SAME ECG PAPER the ER doc looked at and smiled. He said "This ECG is perfectly fine. I cant even see why she would say such a thing. I'm so certain that I don't want to even preform an echo to take measurements. I'm sorry for this inconvenience. However, the pain you are experiencing is most likely from the inflammation of the muscular skeleton. Your a perfectly healthy young male." HE DIDNT EVEN SUGGEST ME TO STOP USING! WHAT! So in conclusion. If you are experiencing chest pains, do see an ER, but don't be discouraged, if the docs in there say something's up because frankly I was depressed for a week straight. ( not really but ya I was ahah)

True. I've received terrible advice from ER before. Thankfully I sought a second opinion and managed to save my finger.

Pretty sure he is saying the same thing you are: went to ER, got bad info, went to cardiologist and was told the ER doc was dead wrong. He does trust the cardiologist and learned that the ER doc was way off.

If its not completely wrong in diagnosis. They're prescribing drugs that do more harm.than good. With some to.the point they can cause serious harm.

But. One doc. Although on his last legs has always been on the mark. Guess they just don't make em like they used to!!!
