Do facial features change with AAS use?

I want to start using AAS but I have a unique question. I have a very small chin and I'm going to be getting a chin implant. Would using AAS and HGH cause my bones underneath to grow bigger and make the implant shift(thus causing me to go back to the doctor and get it taken out)?

Also has anyone here who have been using these substances for a long time noticed an increased size in their nose,chin, jaw cheekbones, forehead, browridge etc? What about the level of fat in your face(like cheeks being more hollow, jaw line more defined etc)?

Also would AAS use affect different peoples facial features differently? For example I have a baby face with small features all around so would AAS affect my facial skeleton much more then say a man who has very large well developed facial features?

The best thing to do IMO would be to look at people who use them. Yes, it can affect bones and such in your face, maybe you it would not, but some it might, some maybe not to much. If you are worried about it, you might want to think twice or do a little more digging to find out for sure.

BTW, i'm not qualified as a user, only from guys i've spoken with that have more knowledge of it than myself.

AAS wont cause your face to change. They're just hormones, and assuming you're the age your profile says, you've long stopped growing.

If you're refering to some of the old pro's that have large jaws, that is partially genetic coupled with large prolonged doses of HGH - well beyond what you're ever likely to afford.

Before you consider steroids though, please feel free to search these forums to educate yourself, and post up questions in the Q&A section.

I think people who don't know think that they will due to the water retention. You know moon pie face. Puffs up, makes forehead look longer and jaws wider, smooths out some of the little wrinkles haha,

I'm actually 21. I just put in a random age because I didn't really care and I'm going to be lurking here for the most part.

Are not hormones the chemicals that promote growth? How could they not have an effect on facial features (which respond to testosterone to give men the secondary characteristics via androgen receptors)?

How much do you estimate the pro's have spent on HGH?

Hgh. 20 30 40 50 thousand a yr?

HGH doesn't make the head bigger? Or that's just from extremely high doses? How about Sly? He's got a pretty big melon lol.

HGH does change facial features. Look at most athletes or body builders before and after. Look at lebron James nose and jaw and how it has changed dramatically in the last few years.

When your bones reach their optimal growth that's it. No getting taller, no longer arms, or bigger heads, hgh helps children with growth deficiencies reach their potential growth, not grow any more then they were supposed to genetically.

Not true look at children who had pituitary dysfunctions and produced extra growth hormones. They far outreach there genetic predisposition. It will not make you taller if you start HGH after you stop growing but will make bones and ligaments denser and more rounded. That is why you see the facial features change in adults.

Dude post a picture of just the lower part of your face. I have never looked at one person in my life who did not suffer from a physical defect and thought "that person sure does have a small chin, maybe they would benefit from a chin implant." the only person I have ever seen with a ****ed up chin is Jay Leno and its because it's too big, not small. Now that ninja could use a reduction IMO.

At what dose and frequency would you have to take HGH to get noticable changes in bone structure? Would injecting HGH in specific areas cause the most effect around the injection site? I've wish my wrists were bigger.

That's children with too much natural gh that grow like that and they don't give children hgh unless they are gh deficient. hgh will not make you grow past what your genes will allow. If your daddy is 5'10" and you are gh deficient and put on hgh you will not out grow what genetically is possible. You will not grow to 6'6" unless your grandpa was a giant. Haha and then you still won't! Children that grow that big has the genes to do it, look back thru the family and you will find big people. Now hgh will def pack on lean hard muscle, trim fat like a craving knife and create a sense of extreme well being, but as magic as that may be, it will not grow the bones any more after plates form.

anyone ever get pumps in the jaw running anavar?? I do, makes it almost impossible to eat..

Wow. That is odd. Very noticeable in size.

Hgh will cause thickening of bones (not elongation) once the growth plates have fused (usually in adolescence). Taking excessive HGH will cause acromegally and dose dependent changes in facial features, hand and foot size via cortical thickening (thickening of the external layer of bone).

AAS will not cause a permanent change in facial features if used after growth plates have fused. If used before fusion they will halt the elongation of long bones (such as the humerus and femur) and possibly, but most likely not too significantly, effect facial features.
