Taking a week off before starting my cycle?

    Is this a good Idea?

Depends on if you are run down or not. If you aren't over trained and aren't mentally worn out, I wouldn't take any time off.

I just feel a little weak and light since I dropped 10 pounds to run this cycle.

Consistency is important in lifting. One of the most important things. If you're run down, lift a little lighter. Don't try to set any PRs but don't stop training.

Take 3 or 4 days and recharge your batteries.

Maybe once every six months or so I will take 4 or5 days off. When I come back I am as strong as a horse and i get SUPER sore again. Other than that I train 6 days a week always.

    Have a deload week.

    50% of your usual sets
    65-70% of your usual weight
I normally increase my reps by 30%

Do what you feel is best, if you feel a few days will help get your head back on track take them off or simple go in and go lighter.
