some people score the neck of the amp with a nail file, what I do is hold the amp in a towel then snap the top off

They snap off very easily. Just hold it in one hand and snap the top off with the other. Yoy could hold it in a towel but you really don't need to. Also you can turn the amp upside down to draw out the liquid surface tension holds it in.

One more thing. Make sure you flick it a few times with your finger to get all the liquid from the top of the ampule before you snap it off.

I said it once I'll say it again, good ole amp opener works beautifully. but pen tops, file, breaking etc, they all work, just takes alittle practice to get it right.

Take a pen cap from a bic pen. Slide the cap over the top of the vial till its around the middle where it gets smaller at the neck. Then all u do is apply some preasure and it pops off.

Dude, file the point you break it with a cheap metal nail file. Put a pen cap on top and snap the sucker off.

I shattered the whole amp and had glass schards under my skin the first time I ever tried and did nothing except tried to snap. Have had 100% success since the file and pen cap.

    Best of luck to ya

As these guys said just scoring it alittle with a file then just snap it off with a towel or something on top.
