The right steroid for me - first time poster
hi, i'm new to this forum and this will be my first time using steroids whilst working out. Any input on steroid use and pointing me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. i'm looking to add steroids into my routine as i have friends that have used them and they've all seen great results. i find it very hard to put on weight even with my brother and his best friend (a personal trainer) setting me out a diet plan and use of weight gainers. i'm currently off training due to injury but will be back in the guy as soon i can.
My stats are:
age - 19
height - 6 feet
weight - 10 stone 1 lbs (141 lbs)
training on and off due to injury for 2 years (broken arm twice and currently a broken knuckle)
As you can probably see from my stats i'm quite skinny for my height and although there is not fat on me i've manged to keep most of my athletic build.
i'd like to really put on lean mass and was wondering if anyone had any idea on what steroids would be right for me, i'd like to be lean and cut by whilst putting on muscle mass (i know nothing of steroids, it's not really something i like talking to my brothers friend about) i'm only really looking to take orals, but i'm open to the idea of injecting. Getting hold of steroids is not a problem for me, i'm able to get hold of pretty much anything which is useful, it's just the prices that put me off some of them.
thanks for reading my post and if there's any more information you need to know feel free to ask
much love, WNALast edited by WNA; 06-28-2013 at 08:38 AM.

Welcome! I'm sorry to inform you, but you're way too young! And too small! Not only are your natural hormone levels higher now than they will be at any other point in your life, but takin steroids at this age can do serious and irreparable damage to your endocrine system.
Visit the nutrition section please. Steroids are not magic. If your diet and training has you at 141lbs what makes you think you'll keep most or any of the weight steroids help you out on after you come off? If your diet and training aren't on point you'll just be wasting money and hurting purself

Welcome. Please visit our nutrition forum and do ALOT of reading. Getting your diet right should be the only thing you are worrying about right now.
Maybe start a new thread over there and list your diet that you have been following diligently.
Also, please edit your post above, there is absolutely no recreational drug talk allowed on this site. Also remove any mention of prices. Thank youNO SOURCES GIVEN

AGE
In humans your Endocrine system is not fully functional until an average age of 25yrs, although the main development is up to around 21yrs it still fluctuates a little bit up to its fully functional age. There is a risk of permanently damaging your HPTA if you take AAS to young and you could end up with symptoms of andropause and HRT for life. Symptoms could be Limp dick, low libido, depression, low energy, low endurance, erection problems and many more but.......are these the types of symptoms you want to have in your 20's?. Believe me its hard to cope with these in your 40's yet alone in your prime of your life.
Around this age your Testosterone levels are the highest they going to be in your life naturally, so use what you have and don't take the risk of damage, I am passionate about this because ive seen it many times with young kids wanting to looking like their heroes and they think the answer is in an injection/tablet.
Taking AAS to young can also cause problems with development, one other main problem is premature sealing of your epiphyeal bone and the consequences mean that you wont grow as big as your genetics could allow you to, there is a test which can be done to see if your growth plates have sealed yet but the average age is around 21yrs old.
TRAINING
You need a few years of hard training under your belt before even considering taking any kind of anabolic support, people who jump on a cycle to soon without having some quality years under their belt usually results in injuries, it takes time to develop your connective tissue, tendons and nervous system to heavy overload training. Slowly getting your own system use to these kinds of extreme's will only help in muscle growth later on when you do decide to start taking AAS.
Build a solid foundation for muscle tissue to grow and maintaining and development will be far greater than without it. Many younger guys will start cycling before they have reached their genetic potential which is crazy when a good solid diet and training program will be far beneficial and productive to muscle building.
Workouts should be mainly focused on basic movements with a priority of over loading the muscle each and ever time you train, increasing your strength and ability to lift in proper form will help with building the foundation for future development
DIET
A lot of younger bodybuilders don't know how to eat. Researching and understanding how your own body responds will help you get to your natural limit, the right food at the right time and a full understanding of proteins, carbs, and fats will only help you succeed in achieving your natural goals. Keeping a diet diary will also help you understand the importance of macro, nutrients, calories and should help you see in which areas you could be going wrong in adding lean muscle tissue.
No matter how much anabolic support you have it will be worthless without proper nutrition, food will help build and maintain your valued muscle weather its natural, cycling or in PCT. Adjusting your food intake and consuming muscle building foods coupled with a solid training program will help you achieve your natural limit and foundation before you start AAS use.
This area is a huge problem with the younger guys and I can't express enough how important diet/food is when first starting out, post and pre training nutrition are very important and understanding how to load and feed the body will help push growth and create a very natural anabolic environment.

Welcome to the board mate
First, you are 19 which means your hormonal system is still developing/maturing and will continue to do so for the next few years til your mid twenties. Taking steroids now increases the risk of negatively impacting this development. Most that have been here awhile will tell you, self included, that you need to wait. Additionally, most, self included, are uncomfortable giving steroid advice to someone your age because of this.
Someone will put up Marcus300's threads on the "young and steroids" and "cycles gone wrong for the young".......?
Additionally, you have, as of yet, not built a muscular foundation to begin an AAS protocol. Steroids are the last thing to consider, AFTER you have dialed in your exercise routines and nutritional plans. Taking steroids is a drug, and produces side effects that should be avoided IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO YOU, like learning how to eat and grow, which you haven't figured out yet, THEN YOU NEED TO FULLY EXPLORE THOSE FIRST!! There are no known side effects to learning how to eat as a body builder should eat, except for getting bigger. Someone will tell you what to do in the nutrition area, I'm sure.
It's good you finally got off the weed. Weed affects motivation and intensity, amongst other things. So I'm guessing that your previous gym time was probably less than ideal. (I could be wrong, but I don't think so).
I'll let others speak up as to the rest of the advice package. There is plenty more to consider.
Good luck!
---Roman

All of these comments have been very helpful. I've decided that i wont be using steroids for a few more years until i'm full developed because of the advice everyone has given. i've talked to some people who aren't really educated on steroids and it's good to get input from people who know what they're talking about. About my weight at the moment though, i was 11 stone 4 lbs and about 5'11 before i went to university in september which is when i started smoking and like roman said it just destroyed my drive to get fitter and bigger and also made me lose all my weight due to my metabolism so hopefully i'll see some good gains due to being back home and having enough money for food and also having the drive to go to the gym. i'll look at my diet plan again and my workout plan. thanks again for the advice

You should have tons of testosterone in your system at your age. No need for AAS, diet will make a huge difference! Post it in the nutrition section and let the experts critique it. Spend a next 6 years learning how to train and eat perfect and then maybe AAS will be a good move.

Here's the good news. You are 19 and this is the place to shine naturally. Your body will produce and is producing all the natural Test that is needed for your growth and with the correct diet, training schedule and intensity, good rest and an attitude to be consistent, and patient you will grow like an Oak tree.
At those stats anything you gain will show, let's make it muscle. With your Ecto body (probably) your body will not hold on to fat and water hence a hard weight gainer.
Don't Fvck your self up, we, all of us experienced people will tell you to wait. Hit the nutrition, train like a beast, sleep like a rock in between and be consistent. Read more and study up on aas and training. Good luck ...crazy old mike

I think you've made the smart decision my friend. We're here to give experienced advice without bias or trying to sell you something. Take your time to develop naturally and save the AAS for later down the road when gains are harder to come by
