    Dirty gear????

Is there any way to tell if your gear is dirty....besides and infection, what would be the tell-tale sign? Unusual pip? Stinging sensation?

Is there a test kit of some sort you can buy?

    thanks

If you have any doubt to it being sterile I'd filter & autoclave.. And find a new source.

Buy a whatman .2Um sterile syringe filter and a new sterile sealed 10ml vial
I'm sure site sponsor sells these
And filter out of your vial into the new sterile one

Be careful what you watch on Youtube... Watch several videos & go with a guy that seems like he's educated... Filtering it without autoclaving it just exposes it to air & desterilizes it completely. An autoclave is basically a pressure cooker, and can be substituted for one. But like I was saying, be cautious on what to follow on YouTube, you won't always get the well educated advice you get on this forum.
