Ectomorph user ?s
Hi everyone! Let me start by explaining myself. I am a 32 year old male. Very much a hard gainer/ectomorph. I have a healthy body and am capable of high endurance exercise. I have a high metabolism as well which has kept my body fat % at around 5-7 at any given time. Above all I'm TIRED OF BEING SKINNY!! I've done my research but cannot seem to find an answer to my question. What would be a good stack for an ectomorph like me to start with? I see that test and deca come highly recommended as a starter but this is usually for people that are not hard gainers. Any advice is greatly appreciated. By the way I consume roughly 8000 calories a day while working out which includes 1.5-2 grams of protein/lb.

There is no way on this earth your eating 8000 calories a day and not gaining weight, Not bashing all calling you a lire, just don't think you've counted the calories correctly, post what you have eaten today.

Height? Weight? How much of the 8000 calories is actual food and not weight gainer/protein shakes? Are you taking that Russian Bear shit I see in GNC? lol

Welcome.
Can you list your 8000 calorie a day diet for us? Including amounts/weights of food and macro's of you can please.
Also give us your height and weight.
I assume if you are trying to gain weight you do zero endurance work?Last edited by Back In Black; 06-29-2013 at 12:58 PM.

Welcome. I also doubt you're eating 8000 calories. I'm eating about 4k - 4.5k and I feel like puking constantly. I was eating over 5k but couldn't keep that up. My diet is posted in my log. Where's yours?

8000 calories is a lot...how are you calculating everything? Either your not calculating correctly or there is something wrong with your hormones. Please update with a food diary...

It can't be true that your Bodyfat is that low... Especially with that amount of calories. If you want help you need to be honest and accurate.

I always add 5-10% to anyone who posts their bf% without pics. They are either lying or.. Nm. They're lying. Period. Why else would someone not post pics?

I apologize everyone I was off on my calories. It's closer to 6000. I am currently eating three military issue MREs per day. These range between 1800 to 2100 calories per complete meal. I'm not sure how to post a photo but I will figure it out. I am 5'8" tall and 143lbs.

That number is based on my last body comp test for a physical about six months ago. I was being tested for hyperthyroidism.

It is accurate. They vary meal to meal. I know that being honest is my best bet to get the help I need. I was told that I do not have hyperthyroidism but my metabolism is unusually high.

I honestly don't think so. MREs are designed to be eaten by one full package per day. In the Marines we were told that this is sufficient to maintain combat readiness. A side affect of this has been lethargy or the "itis" and some gastro intestinal problems. I don't think I can even continue doing this without doing damage.

Ok. Like I said I want to be honest. I am just going with the info I have been given. I've gotten very frustrated. I know it's not a fast process and it will take effort. The thought of steroids is basically a last resort. I'm hoping it can give me a kick start or shock to my system and make a difference.

I just wrote 7 paragraphs and hit 'cancel' by accident. Gfdi!
Sorry for doubting, and thanks for posting a pic. We see a lot of trolls just passing time here and posting bs.
Keep eating like that. Read marcus300's training thread. Great techniques there. sorry but I'm not rtyping everything I lost. I was a hard gainer with a high metabolism and started at 135lbs in 1989. At 6' tall so I know skinny!
Throw some met-rx in between meals if you can. The USAF gets them free, as many as they want. Don't know about USMC.
You should be able to get to 190 or so naturally but it won't be easy. It took me 7 years to get to 200 and I wasn't natural but I know ppl who were bigger than me and didn't juice.
