was i proper shut down or not at week 12

hey,

been cycling for a few years now, fairly experienced and very well informed.

so this cycle i have been running 750mg/week test enth. i hit week 12, great gains in size and strength, everything has been going as planned.

Anyway, i finished my 4th bottle of gear. i have my suspicions that it was maybe a little under dosed. i bought another 2 bottles of gear to carry my cycle out to 16 weeks, this time changing to a different brand.

here where is gets interesting... at week 12 on the gear i started on, i had no gyno at all, my nuts were at about half size maybe not quite. anyway, after 1 week on the 'different' brand of test enth i started gettn pain in the nuts (as if i was starting shutdown at the start of a cycle) and minor gyno symptoms.

my question is why? obviously the stuff i began the cycle with wasnt bunk, i grew and got strong. and even being under dosed, surely after 12 weeks my boys would have been proper shutdown, right?

I have no idea what you mean by "Maybe not shut down after 12 weeks" -- Even if your gear was underdosed, you'd still be suppressed. Symptoms and symptom timing varies per individual. You need blood work.

yes that was sorta what my query was about. the 'symptoms' im currently experiencing at week 13 is what i usually experience at about week 3. the only thing that has changed is the brand of gear.

could it be that i was only moderately suppressed, but now ive introduced proper dosed stuff (so more test is going into my body in reality) im getting further suppression.

sorry if the wording in the opening post didnt quite make sense. i did know i would be somewhat suppressed at week 12...

After 12 weeks of being on testosterone you will be shut down.

Yes it could be due to strength of your gear. On TRT dose my boys only pull up about 1/2 way and on cycle they do get tighter. Yes shut down is shut down but more gear does have different physical effects.

The stronger gear could also easily have increased your E2 causing the gyno symtoms. Probably by just upping your AI will solve the problem with both symptoms although you didnt mention anything about AI. What are you using?

I thought the same as marcus. I don't think you are as "informed" as you think you are voshi. Maybe it's time to go back to the drawing board and start researching again. You have to understand what Testosterone does once administered so that you know what to expect.

awesome man thanks for that. exactly the info i was after. im using aromasin at 12.5 ED. upped to 25ED and gyno has settled. thanks mate

its not that im not well informed. it didnt really come out the way i meant it to first time around. lovbyts post was what i was looking for.

I think all your gear was okay and that the estrogen buildup finally hit you. I know for myself that when I have too much estrogen in my system for some reason my nuts ache. I will then up the dose of my dex till it goes away.

What were you using for estrogen control if you don't mind me asking?
