Hesitant to take Cypionate because of long term effects

Want to use Cypionate for low test. (300ng/dl)

However, I'm 27 and I have borderline marfan syndrome. Basically, my aorta's walls are somewhat weak and I should not lift extremely heavy as it might rupture. Thats fine, I never really did lift extremely heavy but in moderation.

My test levels were low and I'd like to use 200mg weekly. (I'm in the process of getting the prescription with the doctor)

I did my research and plan on taking a AI during the cycle and Nolva as a PCT.

Im nervous about the long term effects..... especially after reading this pubmed stud

    ww w.ncbi. nlm.nih.gov/p ubmed/23474 392

Granted it was on animals - completely different than humans - we still can't completely throw away the study.

I notice guys like Arnold who took steroids having heart surgery..... notice a few other guys in a steroid documentary needing heart surgery after they took steroids.

Now granted this was a very small sample, I can't help but think....was it because of their steroid usage ?

    Thoughts ?

I think you should follow your dr advice. If you go on trt there is no need for pct. trt is forever

Don't risk your longterm health, it's just not worth it.

Agreed. However, I always like second third or even fourth opinions. The more information, the better decision I can make.

I'm curious as to how you guys perceive the long term effects ? Do you believe the benefit of using these enhancers outweighs the cost in the long term ?

I.E Give up 5-10 years of your life but have the mood/ body of your dreams ?

I agree. In this case I think your doctor has the answer. You will not be doing any cycles as he said. You will be on it for the rest of your life if you so choose. You will also be under a doctors care receiving regular blood work to constantly evaluate how your body is responding. I'm no TRT specialist, but at the doses they prescribe I think the risks are low. Maybe some fertility issues.

Something to consider is once you go on TRT, you will be shutting down your natural production. Possibly permanently. So I would consider how low are your levels now? And do you really need it?

If you have been diagnosed with low T, then TRT is probably a good idea. If you have something that will kill you if your your heart beats to hard then don't do anything that would cause that to happen unless you want to die. However, if you want to die there are easier ways than running a cycle. My advice: try not to die but, I'm biased.
TRT and cycling are not the same.

At least your smart enough to do your research since you do have marfan syndrome and I truly admire you for that.

This is how i view it, I might do steroids but i highly doubt a few cycles in my 20's will be the reason for my death. Just like the recreational drugs i take at festivals etc. You can die of so many things with such a higher % death rate in your country. Also comparing to guys like Arnold or Randy Savage etc they would of done years and years of steroid abuse with dosages extremely higher then what your looking at. And if you do happen to die to roids least you will look good in the casket

Any science to back this up ? A few cycles in your 20's won't do that much damage ? 250mg week 10 week cycles

    Thanks .

250mg/w isn't worth running IMO. Whether you run 250/w or a g/W you're getting shut down just the same. 250 is just over a TRT dose. And I can't say if it will or won't damage you, it's a total toss in the air, there's no way to definitively say "I can & will recover" you take a chance of staying shut down every time you cycle. So if you're gunna risk it, might as well get the most out of it

    G/W ?

Are you referencing my test levels returning to baseline? I'll be using the recommended PCT and AI.

Have you seen incidences where after a cycle of Cyp, natural levels have NOT returned to their normal range after the cycle ?

Usually ur safe with proper pct. But that's not to say it can't happen. That's the risk u take. Its the risk everyone takes you go down that route.
