Blood test completed.. doctor won't give me results.

I got bloodwork done to make sure that my gear was legit, because I was very skeptical since my libido has yet to change and strength hasn't improved much. Also to make sure my cholesterol and estro levels were okay.

My doctor called today and told me that my white blood cells were elevated and that she wanted to speak to me in person about my testosterone levels and so forth.

Initially she wasn't going to check my test levels so I told her I had low libido and wanted to see what was going on, so she agreed.

Why wouldn't she tell me the results?? And this may be stupid but what does a rise in white blood cells indicate?? I'm taking 100 mg test prop eod. Surely this has happened to someone else

Because she wants you to pay for a visit. You'll get your results when you get there, and if they refuse.... remind them that it's your right to have a copy of your blood work.

It may be that she knows that you're using and that your gear is likely crap (since an elevated wbc count generally signals an infection/immune response) and she would like to do her job and look out for your health.

When result are not in range a consult is usually done in office to design a course of treatment in your case you are on gear and claiming low labido to get the test you wanted. The reality is your testosterone is high due to gear and so is your RBC they go hand in hand.
So the doctor is concerned for your health and is going to call you out on this and will be part of your permanent health record.
You should have used an amonomous lab like privatelabs.

On TRT and I would never get blood work pulled if I knew I might come up over the limit.

He went in to get his test level checked to see if his gear was legit. So they pulled a lipid panel and found the RBC. He also stated the doctor wanted to talk about his test level that I'm figuring is high since he is on prop

I go to Labcorp and the post my results right onto Microsoft Silverlight Beacon. Takes less than a week and they notify you by e mail when results are ready to see,, Good Luck !

Lol def going to call you out on your gear. Certain hormones such as LH leutinzing hormone (plays a huge role in your immune system) levels deplete alot during cycles..(explains your high white cells) fsh follicle stimulating hormone depletes among other things...either your doc knows yours obv on gear or is ignorant and thinks you have a serious issue. Id just tell her. Alot of body builders have docs monitior them. In the future I would use pvt labs...then a month after your pct is finished go in and get work done to make sure everything is up to par.

Either your white cells are effected cause your gear is legit and your LH is low or the gear u had was dirty n ur body is like wtf

I've never heard of LH having any role in the immune system. I'm on HRT (so I have no LH) and my WBCs come back normal. Oh, and I have an amazing immune system from wallowing in every hospital disease known to man on the daily.

After doing some research on wbc increase I found it could simply be due to a reaction to a drug that increases white blood cell production. I've been getting a few lumps from injections tho so i wouldn't be surprised if my gear is dirty.. i'm just going to have to push thru it.

Would you still recommend I talk to her again to make sure everything is ok? because part of me feels like this is just a gimmick for them to get more money out of me. I planned on just walking in tomorrow and asking them for a printout of my results since they're legally obligated to give me them and not following up with another appointment.

Does this mean my insurance premiums will most likely increase?

Just go get the results and don't make an appointment just yet.

Unless she is familiar with gearheads, she is probably wondering why your T is at 1800 and your libido is still low, and she wants to run a battery of tests to get to the bottom of this medical anomaly.

You guys were talking about private labs? Does that mean you just draw your own sample and send it in and get results that way? How much does something like that usually cost?

Each state has varying laws regarding blood results. A doctor cannot keep your results from you, but some states require you to go to the doctor and get the results directly from them. For example, if you get your blood test through LabCorp, in many states you can access the results from their online portal, but if you live in a state with restrictions labcorp cannot give you the results and you have to do to the doctor to get them. And state laws apply to anyone who's doing a blood test for an individual who lives in that state, LabCorp, Quest, etc.
