Generally speaking: For someone who has completed a deca-only first cycle with great results, and little to no sides, would a test only cycle still be recommended for the next cycle?

When did you do the deca only cycle ? no test at all ?
Blood work is what you need
I was just asking in general, but the cycle was 15 years ago and BW today is 'normal' on all factors. test is at 469 ng/dl two months ago. Two years ago was closer to 500.
Test only cycle. Ai. Hcg. Pct
Diet diet diet.
Please never do any cycle without test as a base.
^^^^ totally agree. Was young and dumb!
Looking at you in your avi that deca only cycle changed you man.![]()
Yeah, hoping the test can breathe some life back into me!
Still in early planning but will likely add in an oral like var to the test only. Will post it all up when I get closer. But for testC with var, should the six week oral be in the fist six weeks or last six weeks? Seems last. Does it really matter? Why not use it as a kicker up front while the C is coming up to level?
Looking at the stickies and such I have yet to find a definitive answer regarding var placement within cycle other than just seeing it listed in the last six. Maybe I missed it but have been reading here for years.
Really a personal choice.
Test only will give great gains
Yep! Hit the 40yo metabolic slowdown I have. Diet diet diet gets me just so far, if ya know what I mean. Still never go above 15% bf, even when bulking, but the lbm gains are more difficult for sure and recuperation is slowed down.
This will be a nice rewarding smart cycle when I'm ready.

Trev, 15 yrs ago is a long time and you are very matured now. I would like to see your full stats before recommending anything more then Test only. You could always use some Test Prop for the first 4 weeks along with the Test Cyp or Enanthate starting also on day one (1). Also remember your AI and PCT which maybe you didn't do 15 yrs. ago. ...crazy mike
Also no need for an oral ...cm
CM, I'm actually going for BW tomorrow again to continue validating my baseline. When I'm about to start ( maybe in a month or two ) ill post everything up for review, AI and PCT inclusive.
My current body stats are 180lb, 13.5%bf (calipers), 43yo, 5'11" training for 20 years...and hopefully for 40+ more God willing.
Good deal man. Sounds like a good plan. They people on this forum will be glad to help you finalize your proposal at that time. Thee advice on here is invaluable and you get a team effort by many.
Man as you see I'm 62 and there is no reason, health allowing, that you can't train indefinably. It does get a little harder. Again good luck and God willing I'll be around for a long time with you and the others. ...crazy mike
CM and others: So here is Fridays BW. Any comments? Nothing out of range.
Question: would this lower range test qualify me for trt? (44yo)
Can't attach the whole thing yet.
-------------
Testosterone, Serum 480 range 348-1197 ng/dL
Luteinizing Hormone(LH), LH 3.2 range 1.7-8.6 mIU/mL
FSH 4.0 range 1.5-12.4 mIU/mL
Estradiol 33.1 range 7.6-42.6 pg/mL
Hematocrit 49.7
You would not qualify for TRT, still in range. I had to be under 300 to qualify. Hematocrit is a bit high though. You might want to donate blood if you can prior to your cycle.Originally Posted by Trevtrev
What usually causes Hematocrit to be high?
Being dehydrated can cause elevated hematocrit.
Also testosterone (and I believe most/all other AAS) can cause an increase in RBC production.
