Question about injecting into pec with 1 inch needle?

I did my first injection today using my right pec, above the nipple area. I decided to use this area because it looks the beefiest like a lot of muscle there. I am using 1 inch needle. Would you say 1 inch needle is sufficient enough? Or would this be too long?

I myself have never pinned pecs as I keloid easy. But from the research I have done I thought one had to pin around the inner part of pec. I could be wrong, usually am. Hope this helps a little. Good luck man

Well I did it about 1/4 inch above the nipple area. I don't think it really matters as long as you nail the muscle. I just wanted to make sure I was not going all the way through by using a 1 inch needle.
