    first test cycle

Im 41 and about to do my first test cycle in a veeeery long time. I was looking to replace the pct by pyramiding my test cycle. 1 injection a week for ten weeks. I did a cycle like this about 20 years ago with no bad side effect (from what i remember) lol, but at 21years old im sure i didn't know everything. lol. Any and all advise would be appreciated.

    1 week 250mg
    2 week 250mg
    3 week 500mg
    4 week 500mg
    5 week 750mg
    6 week 750mg
    7 week 500mg
    8 week 500mg
    9 week 250mg
    10 week 250mg

Im in the gym 5 days a week and have been for the past year... Ive lost about 30lb but could of lost more but i had a hard time in the beginning with the diet. I solved that problem and now i eat a very clean diet (if i dont cook it i dont eat it)... Im 41yr and 162lb at 5'8 about 12/15 bf...

i was under the impression that a pct is to help test levels back to norm and kick start my bodies natural test development. if i pyramid my cycle wont i be doing that anyway by weening my body of the test?

Well, when you come off testosterone your body will naturally taper down smoothly. But when you do it yourself as you outlined, you're fluctuating your serum levels several times, causing serious hormonal imbalances, peaks, dips, etc.. Estrogen management would be quite the task! Furthermore; you're losing the compounding effect of testosterone. Your first 2 weeks and last 2 weeks are worthless for progress. Basically shutting down HPTA for no reason.

Use one dose from start to finish. Tapering off is something of the early 70's. We don't do that anymore.

lol... am i showing my age??? lol... yes i know its a bit old school and i THINK i was willing to sacrifice the 4 weeks if it meant not having to do the pct... As for the estrogen management i was thinking of aromasin at 12.5mg a day..

lol. Well look, there is no such thing as "not having to PCT" unless you're a TRT patient. If you're currently producing testosterone in good range, you should always consider recovery. No matter what amount of testosterone you choose and no matter how much tapering you do, you will be shut down. Once you're shut down, you need PCT to recover. There is no way around it. Your body doesnt care how much testosterone you inject, it just knows that you're injecting. When your brain sees exogenous testosterone, it says... "Woah, if there is already testosterone coming in, I'm closing down shop. What the heck do I need to produce any for?"

Aromasin dose is better at 25mg daily.
