    Do you tell your Endocrinologist?

I saw the current thread about divulging use to your physician, and I agree.
For those of you that see an Endocrinologist - do you ever tell them anything?
    Just curious, and thanks guys!

Nope. None of their business. It would be smart to avoid blood work through the endo's office and just do it privately until levels return to normal post cycle.

I never thought of that - thanks. I read that several of the members see Endos, and I just assumed they discussed this stuff.
I won't even tell anything about bodybuilding - it just opens you up for questions.

I qualify for charity care through my local hospital, so I get all of my med work done for free bc I'm a diabetic. I asked for a full hormone panel, 2 months post deca cycle. My LH was way below the range, and my free and serum test were 1/2 of where the range even starts. My DR. asked me if I took juice, and I said no. Then I went in for a follow up and spoke with the woman who handles my diabetes and she flat out asked me if I used steroids...I kinda hesitated and said no, but she gave me this look of like,.."whatever you say, you lying ****" She actually seemed like she was now less inclined to help me bc of her suspicions of my AAS use. This kind of pisses me off because she took a Hippocratic oath to help a patient in need. And the effects of long term Test shutdown can be far more detrimental to the body than the effects of long term use. I have an Appointment with an official Endocrinologist on Sept 18th. If he asks I might just say that I used one of those Pro hormones off one of those shady websites, and did'n't realize what I was taking. I know you guys for the most part believe pro hormones are a joke, but they are clones of real steroids, and can cause full HPTA shutdown....I'd never really use them because I feel that they are less regulated than even UGL actual steroid brands. But, it sounds more legit to say to an endo than to say...umm yeah I was pinning test/deca. I'll pull the baseball player move and say I didn't even realize I was taking them haha....I agree with Austin...never just flat out say that you willingly partook in illegal AAS use...It just can't be a good idea.

If you have a few cycles under your belt, everybody will know you use just by looking at you.

I still try to lie out my teeth tho. Never tell doctors. Use phrases like:
~naw this is real muscle. It's definitely not that fake roid muscle
~I'm not a cheater, man. It's all pure hard work

I definitely agree with that, but unless you do private bloodwork, your gonna have to answer questions to a hormone specialist. And the numbers, whether off the charts high on cycle, or off the charts low off cycle, don't lie. And the endo can spot that something is up, especially if you are big as faurk.

So they'll "know" but they wont know. You know? lol

IMHO if they run BW and see that my test is off the charts, my test is off the charts no matter how it got there. They need to treat whatever I'm i there for them to treat.

I havent encountered a situation where I needed an excuse, but Ive alwasy thought that saying you used some suppliments from the gnc at the mall would be my default answer if levels were wacked and doc started asking questions. IF they ask specifics give them a current legal prohormone. My thought is it would explain issues and not effect coverage, etc. Just a thought, no idea how it works and have not been in this position....
