Looking into Anavar and some opinions

Hello!


Started lifting around Jan 2011. Since then every season I have increased the frequency and intensity. Began taking a diet seriously a year ago. Started at 201lbs 5'11'' (maybe 20ish BF%) and over a year went down to 155lbs. Now I'm sitting at 175-180lbs (13-14%). Always high protein (100-200) a day. Experimented with low carb/low fat, high carb/low fat. I'm more of an endomorph by genetics. My buddy did a testE cycle with awesome results, he recommended Oxandrolone tabs for me for a first cycle. Want your opinion on if that's a good starting point for me. I believe I have the gym discipline and diet knowledge down pretty well. I've built a good developed base and don't feel I'm jumping the gun on going anabolic. When I first starting fitness, I read an athelete should workout and learn dieting before beginning anabloics. Got married 3 months ago and learning how to split time between the gym and married life. So here I am!

Summary: Do you believe going on Anavar is right for me now, or wait?

In a nutshell, you really need to work on your diet and training. You are closer to 18% than 13% and barely look you have been lifting for a few months, let alone a few years.

100-300g per day isn't 'high' protein particularly but is a massive variable.

Sorry for the tough love but you need to forget about AAS, visit our nutrition and lifting sections and go from there. They are both amazing resources.

Barely lifting for a few months? (I wish my muscle grew that fast haha) I'm satisfied with the results I've gotten with the effort I've put in. I've come a long way since being 200lbs pure fat.

Thanks for the feedback! Have you gone AAS? Where were you in your training when decided to do so?

Work on diet and training if you are happy with the results then why rush into something else?


And anavar only cycles are for women

I agree with the bf %. I would say your closer to 20% just based off the pics I saw. You need to learn how to eat right so you can grow and start doing cardio to get the results you want.
you will gain nothing from var imo at your bf. Var is a mild anabolic and definitely promotes vascularity for those who are already lean.

Why don't you go to the lifting section and post up your workout. We will help you tune it a bit for your desired results. Same with your diet in the nutrition section.

I trained consistently for 5 years before I touched a AAS. Took a few worthless prohormone supplements during that time but that was it. Anavar was pretty useless for me as well. Just made me very sleepy. No gains.

You will make excellent gains natural during the first few years. It is actually detrimental to try to add in AAS during this period I believe.

Not ready and a oral only cycle is not good. Not to be harsh but a more time in the gym to build a base is key. Start with the legs the key to the universe.

Agree with the above. Hit the nutrition section for some help and visit Marcus' Diary in the Lounge for some great training tips. You can make some great progress before you make that "leap" into aas. Remember, even Anavar is suppressive of your natural testosterone.
