    Anavar and HCG

I've been taking anavar only cycles with good results. 15-20 mg for 3 months on, 2-3 months off. I have never stacked it with test because of the hair loss. All the studies (and posts here) indicate that var will lower the test production which could explain a little loss in energy. Sex drive has always been high, but I think that went down a bit too. I'm not under a doctor's care so I would not know how much test to take to bring my levels to normal during the cycle. A buddy of mine suggested hcg during the cycle since it raises the test level naturally. I always take hcg as a pct (5000 iu ten days).

Not sure what dose I should take. My buddy takes 10000 iu's for the month and combines it with b12. I was thinking 5000 iu for twenty days through the whole three month cycle. My main goal here is to increase my energy level, which has never been high, but seems lower during cycle. Is it safe? Feedback, suggestions? thank you

I'm guessing you're a male. The anavar doses are throwing me off though.

Normal test levels would be your baseline before you started. So no one can answer that but you and your blood work. But a good basic dose is 200 to 250 per week.

No, not hCG . Testosterone . hCG is suppressive. You shouldn't be using it unless a doctor is helping you with a restart, or as a supplement to testosterone. At those anavar doses, you don't really need anything.

Agree with Austinite on this. Here's the thing, HCG mimics the LH analog produced in the brain, and is the hormone/glycoprotein that stimulates natural testosterone production. Even if you were on a suitable HCG mono-therapy protocol through a physician/clinic (which you're not, 250iu/wk is highly ineffective), the protocol would increase natural test, which in turn would convert downstream to DHT and E2.

Don't take it as a knock or in the wrong way, just do some better research on what you're dealing with on this, including the Anavar . As Aus stated, HCG is suppressive, being it's just an exogenous form of LH. Also, there's a reason Aus was also saying the dosages were throwing him off. Being that you're 41yo, you probably wouldn't have too much trouble getting enrolled with a good clinic.
