Question for the guys that blast and cruise. I'm curious how well you keep your gains during the cruising period and what aas you run and at what dose during?
Im going to cruise on 250 test e and 200 mast e after this cycle.. I can't comment on gains kept yet but I know a few guys that do this and they look full and vascular all year round...
250 will put you too high IMO. You want to drop down to a trt dose.
If your diet is dialed in, it's very possible to keep most if not all your gains. There are guys maintaining 240lbs just on trt on these boards. Diet is key.
trt dose would just put you in the upper scale of test levels right so near 900ish? so if somebodies natural test levels are around there, say 800-900 they would be able to be 240lb monsters naturally like the guys on here if they are as consistent and as dedicated as them? thats hard to believe man. i must be missing something here? *just looking for knowledge and information not being critical*
Typical TRT doses are not enough to maintain muscle mass that is produced beyond your natural limits by blasting/cycling.

You don't lose your gains in weeks time with good diet and upper ref range test.
Poor training poor diet low test and over time is a recipe to lose gains.
Training and diet is key.
Folks. You gotta define what you're talking about. If you're within limits, you don't even need to have upper range test levels. Just food and training. Obviously it helps but you can maintain mass even with low T, assuming you haven't breached your limits.

I think you technically would be able to maintain more muscle mass on a trt dose..because you'd be in the high range all the time. While the natty guys testosterone decreases throughout the day. Also doesn't exogenous test keep your cortisol nice and low so it's harder to go in a catabolic state?

Correct. TRT doses certainly help, but you'll lose the gains. 200mg is nothing. It'll extend the time it takes to lose the gains, but you can't hang on to what doesn't belong to you without some serious protection. Your body is built to go back to normal and it will constantly be fighting to get back to normal. You're just renting the extra mass.
The reason you see guys that "seem" to hang onto muscle years after getting out of the scene, is because of long term HGH use, which permanently changes structure, giving the effect off muscle retention, when in fact their structure is just larger than when they started.
You can do many things to extend the time it takes to lose muscle. ie, food, training, TRT doses, etc... but unless you inject enough to hang onto your muscle for a while, you'll lose it. Just a matter of how fast. It's like renting a car. once you stop paying... you gotta give it back.

Good to know. Ive been maintaining 230 on 5g androgel lol...never done a proper blast tho..but it'd be sweet if I could hang on to 250 on a proper cruise dose of test e!
lol, gross.

I cruise between 125-150 personally.
I retain gains very well

But seriously he just gave not being able to wipe your own ass a whole new meaning
There is a lot of information in here what I agree with some stuff I have a different view on but, ive not got time to go through each part but austin hit on some very important part which are long tern use of hgh, the level of training some one can do and also food intake, also one very important thing whats been missed out is genetics play a huge part.
But remarkable things can be obtained by trt alone but its not as simple as just using trt to maintain gains if you know what I mean![]()
I absolutely agree. The problem with these types of discussions is that we can't really generalize. There are too many scenarios to consider, and they are all handled differently.
For example, we can't give the same solution to a guy who is 5 lbs over limit, vs a guy who is 25 lbs over. Far too individualistic and in most cases when folks discuss this stuff, it's generalized.

I live the lifestyle to the fullest, I don't **** around. I see guys who are 250lbs but don't carry all that much muscle, its a joke they no idea what they are doing just taking lumps of gear thinking they will turn them into something special but its take more than some high dose cycle to do that. this place is full these people its time and understanding how your body grows in spurts and taking advantage of it. tricks of the trade

if you blast and cruise and say you do it for a whole year or 2, arent you pretty much not gonna recover and be on TRT for rest of your life?

It would also seem even if the two guys you mentioned were almost identical there is a good chance each will respond differently, perhaps very differently, on the same cruise and blast protocol even if they are on the same diet and workout regimen. I guess that would be genetics picking and choosing favorites.
