Progesterone as an AI
I am led to believe that Progesterone declines in men as they age, and often disappears by the time you 50.
It is claimed it has the same effect as Armidex (reducing estrogen levels), with little side effects, it is also said to lower insulin levels helping in fat reduction and less fatigue.
Is is stated it can help promote prostate health, reverses depression and prevent osteoporosis.
I am just throwing this theory out there, because if any persons have any knowledge of the hormone they will be on this site, I have heard some TRT specialists and endo's swear by it other have the opposite stance.

It can help with estrogen but I do not believe near the effect of Adex. Here's an excerpt from LEF:
"The benefits of progesterone, however, are not restricted to women. Both benign hyperplasia and prostate cancer are linked to excess estrogen. Progesterone inhibits the aromatase enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogenic compounds that can mutate prostate cells. Hence progesterone replacement for men (at lower doses than for women) has potential for preventing prostate cancer, while safely boosting levels of free testosterone. Based on progesterone's inhibition of the dangerous aromatase enzyme the hormone may also improve the sex lives of aging men, although no studies have yet concluded the latter.
In addition to making people feel better, progesterone may help to prevent the mental decline that occurs with aging. Progesterone has been shown to increase neuronal energy production and protect brain cells against damaging hyper-excitotoxicity."

Funny how in some ways it can counteract estrogen but in some ways work with it to give you titties. The body is fascinating...

Indirectly, yes. Progestins, like nandrolone and trenbolone activate a ton of progesterone receptors. Your 1st line of defense is E2 management to prevent the synergistic effect that leads to gynecomastia .
