    First time...Clen + Taurine

    Hey All;
    Looking to do my first cycle; going to be a clen +taurine cycle, hopefully 'simple' and effective. Each day will include 4g of Taurine. Any comments, suggestions, greatly appreciated. Am kind of wary of going to 120mcg for a dose, but... let me know...

    Stats:
    5'7"
    165lbs
    15-18% bf (approx)
    Training off and on last 10 years or so.
    Never cycled before.

    Average Daily Intake:
    1. Prot Shake, 4 Eggs
    2. Snack on Nuts or Apple
    3. 2xChicken Breasts with a starch
    4. Snack again.. Apple, Orage, Nuts something like that..
    5. Post workout Protein Shake
    6. Chicken/Steak with spinach/broccoli (leafy green) and small side of potatoes or something similar.
    approximately 6 qts of water intake

    day dose
    1 40mcg
    2 40mcg
    3 40mcg
    4 40mcg
    5 80mcg
    6 80mcg
    7 80mcg
    8 80mcg
    9 80mcg
    10 80mcg
    11 40mcg
    12 40mcg
    13 40mcg
    14 40mcg
    Off 2 Weeks, repeat one more time.

    What are your diet macros's and training/cardio plan?

    (Your diet needs work I think)

    Why only up to 80mcg?

    I was reading that the max that most would want to get to was 120mcg. If I can tolerate 80mcg for a few days then my next cycle I would go to 120...

    40% protein/40% carbs/20% fat; hope this is what you mean by macros... I think this is a relatively common breakdown?

    I am going to be doing steady paced cardio for 1hr 3x a week (consisting of running on a treadmill) and the other 3 days will be weight training (high rep count, lower weight)...

    For macros's I meant what amounts in terms of grams?

    Why don't you do cardio after your lifting too?

    I'll have to figure that out when I get home.

    I only have approximately 1 hour of free time to workout depending on the day (unless it's a weekend). I spend every second of that lifting when I go to the gym. Other than that I busy with family, errands, work and the commute... So, I just never really had time to incorporate cardio immediately after lifting for the past several months or so....

    ~2000cal daily (unless my math is wrong this is about 300+/- under tdee)

    targets:
    225g protein
    175g carbs
    100g fat

    fat seems high for my plan (??) if I am doing this right... protein should be easy to hit as well as the carbs number... should I adjust to target lower? a nice junk of that would be from my nut intake, lol.

    Your tdee is really dependant on your activity level. 2000cals may put you 300-500 under TDEE if we take into account your 6 days a week exercise plan.

    Can I ask what progress this calorie and macro plan has had in conjunction with your stated exercise regime?

    In all honesty, you should have absolutely no problem getting to 12% or less without the use of any thermogenic, I'm failing to see the need (at the minute) of why you feel the need at 18% bodyfat to use one.

    Tolerance is a subjective thing. I have no problem with 120mcg, for example. I have read about people feeling like they did 20 lines of a certain natural alkaloid anasthetic from 100mcg, too. If youre going to do it, imo your pplan to taper up is how you should handle the dose.

    I love clen I think youll be happy with it. Not trying to be rude man but your BF is kinda high to have those macros. If fat loss is the goal with clen I would seriously consider Keto diet with clen. If I am not on cycle and I run clen it is ONLY WITH KETO. And in 2 weeks I can drop 3-6% bf in a single pull depending on how much bf I have going into it. But if your not going to keto you need to drop more fat from your macros.

    Also dose is going to give you poor results I know being safe is a concern but reaching a goal should be right under that.

    Dose for first time IMO
    40/60/80/80/100/100/100/100/100/100/80/80/60/40

    the 40 day is really IMO for you to gauge how your body reacts to it. Everyday bump it up 20mg as long as you feel fine hit 100 and hold then taper down. For me I know going in as long as I buy from the same place I start at 60/80/100 I personally dont see any gains at 120 and it feels like 100 so I just stick to my guns at 100mg.

    In addition to supplements I would buy cheap fishoil and smash the hell out of those everyday. I eat 10 of them normally and ill bump it to 20 if I am on clen. Also make sure your drinking a gallon + of water a day. I always aim for 2 gallons. Any other questions ask away!

    Thank you both. I will read up some more and consider your suggestions winkdogydog101. I'm not good at planning out the macros of a diet, so I was trying to take what I eat now and extrapolate on that and then minimize what I can but still be healthy... looks like I will be heading over to the nutrition forum again....

    I already take up to 4 fish oil gelcaps a day and I already consume about 1.5g of water a day.

    If you could provide more information on why Ketotifen would be beneficial, that would be greatly appreciated. From my reading, quickly, it seems that it would help with sleep? If I'm doing Clen in the morning (5am), I'm assuming this wouldn't be a problem at 9pm-ish.... Maybe I'm off base with my understanding of that stack?

    So after some reading, I'm going to do the following:
    21 day CLEN cycle + Keto on day 14 + Taurine 4g daily
    Keto on hand just in case I need it, but will definitely start on Day 14.

    Potassium, Taurine and Fish Oils also on hand.

    40mcg/40/80/80/80/80/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120/120

    I started a diet log so I can, as accurately as possible, account for and plan out, to the calorie/carb/protein/fat, etc what I will be eating and adjust to meet goals.

    I am going to try for 225g Protein (~1.35:1), 175g Carbs (~1.05:1), and 75g Fat (~.45:1). in 2000 cal daily diet.

    Is it OK to post a diet log here, or will that have to go to the nutrition section? Would like input on it but don't want to double post....
