Abscess?
Did my 2nd injection on my left quad, first injection was right quad, i had some Prop PIP although nothing major, ALTHOUGH yesterday when i did my first time left quad injection, whilst i was going in halfway with a 1.5" needle my quad twitched and felt like i nicked a nerve instead of puncturing it as it didn't necessarily hurt, it just twitched although i kept sliding in, i finished my pin and kept it in for 10 or so seconds, then i pulled out. absolutely no blood came out. SO a good pin, right?
Today i have the absolute WORST PIP, its ****ed and nothing compared to my right quad, im wondering could it be a abscess? Its not red at all, it does hurt when i put a little pressure on it.
Worried as all **** and i got legs tommorow. ****.

My first pin in both my quads actually put me on bed rest for 3 days, only because it was virgin muscle.... But my last injection 3 days ago, I nicked a nerve as well, but the swelling and redness was only due too inflammation and irritating the nerves.
you have to remember that when your pinning any oil, you irritating the muscle fibers on a level that they've never been introduced too. The same idea applies to SEO's, it just causes inflammation and irritation which causes natural swelling.
YOUR FINE BRO!! just hit your legs and they pain will begone within 15-20 mins of your pump

You injected near a nerve (which explains the twitching episode), so that nerve is in a lot of pain. Simple as that.

If you get an abscess you'll know. There's no maybe about it and it takes longer than a few days. Abscess is an internal infection. A.cavity fills with puss and stinky dead tissue and it hurts like little gremlins are munching on your living muscle tissue with rotten teeth.

It's not an abscess. I've just started pinning, and on my second pin did something similar. After the needle was in, my quad spasmed. Hurt like a bitch and had a decent amount of PIP over the next couple days. The reason this happens is because you're actually bruising the muscle fibers with the shaft of the needle when they contract around it. The worse the spasm, the worse the bruise.
