Why can't I inject into my right quad?

Whenever I'm injecting in the right quad, outside about 4-5" away from knee it either takes me 3 tries or I can't do it at all? As soon as I pierce the skin it hurts like a mofo and bleeds right away and I have to pull the needle out. I change the tip and try again and same thing. On the left quad it's no issue but for some reason my right quad kills. I did have a right hip replacement so I'm not sure if that might have anything to do with it but I inject into the right glute all the time without issue. I'm gonna try delts next but for whatever reason I'm nervous about doing so.

I have the same issue with quads, and I'm sure its scar tissue. Over time I've slowly expanded the pinning area for my quads. I can go very high and outside these days with a 1" pin. I have an area about 8"x 8" that works fine. And sometimes when I get immediate pain at the skin I bite the bullet and just keep pushing!

    Scar tissue? Mental issue?

Gluteus and delts are what I go after.

I don't think it's scar tissue and it's def. not mental. Maybe my right leg is just more sensitive? Who knows. My quads are quite muscular but I doubt that's the issue because the left quad is smooth as butter. The first time I ever did a quad injection it was on the right side and was a piece of cake but ever since I haven't had much luck.

Although scar tissue is not relevant to their problem I beg to differ with your statement. There is a production of scar tissue over time if one continues to pierce there body with any sharp or dull instrument. People who have to prick their fingers everyday continually over the years build up some scar tissue.

If you keep cutting the body tissue with anything as it heals it gets tougher technically speaking by building scar tissue.

This is not their issue. ...crazy mike

You're just nervous and going in too slow. Absolutely no other possibilities. Needles go through skin, fat and muscle with ridiculous ease. Nothing special about your right quad.

Quads are easy for me I like the upper quad front and centre. Outer quad works too. I never go towards the knee on my quads.

Never tried quads, glutes are just too pain free for me to inject anywhere else.

Quads and glutes kill me..... I can't even pin them anymore. Chest/tris/delts are so painless it's not even worth going anywhere else.

What exactly is there to differ? I didn't make a statement, I asked a question lol.

That's my guess. Unless he has a disorder and his heart is in his right leg lol...

Well my friend, I think you have a good point. You did put a question mark... ? So let me go back and nicely answer the question mark with the answer I gave stating that is isn't scar tissue. Also as far as mental issues I think he is scared and uneasy. I am assuming.

I myself have to be carful as to the real location because I seem to hit more blood vessels on that leg. I throw it up to more vessels in that leg in that area. I just moved up an inch or so and the problem was solved. So I'm hitting just a little higher on my left. BUT no problem with either. I use my wrist and stab it quickly. G2G Keep it cool. ...crazy mike

I inject both my quads about mid way between the knee & hip. I hit the sides & directly on top (looking down on top of my leg while sitting).

I agree with the mental block. It's all in your head dude, relax, take a deep breath & stab er' in there.

I'm also not being a *****. I'm on TRT and inject twice/week and now doing a blast at 4 times/week so I'm not afraid to inject or anything like that. Maybe I just need to find a higher spot on my quad. The first time I ever did a quad injection it was a piece of cake on that side but since then I have had any luck. Maybe I'm just getting unlucky and hitting a blood vessel every time.

'Dolet' is the word. I don't know the Latin for fvcking but that should precede it.
