    Question Lump under nipple. Help!!

Hey newbie here. I'm an 18 y/o kid who HASN'T TAKEN steroids so please don't get on my case for it. I know they can be very dangerous for people my age. Anyways, I have had a lump behind my right nipple ever since 8th grade and I'm kinda sick of it. Been there for years. Anyways I know a pretty reasonable amount about AAS and know that the lump can be caused by in imbalance of hormones, namely Estrogen so my question is can I take Arimidex to eliminate this insanely annoying lump behind my right nipple that makes me incredibly self conscious? Or any other anti-estrogen? And I know that everything you take hormones wise will have an effect on the other hormones in your body so what will this do to my test levels? rise? drop? any change at all? thanks for the feedback.

I wouldn't mess with antiestrogens until you get blood work. You can always have a doc evaluate you.

Anastrazole (adex) won't help and most of the recommended SERMs likely won't alleviate the problem. If its been there for several years, the tissue becomes dense and fibrous and in most cases needs to be removed surgically through a lumpectomy procedure. You should see your MD.

Thanks for the advice. I really am a newbie though so would you mind telling me where to go to get blood work done? doctors office? and when I do get it done, what exactly am I looking for to tell me to take or not take an anti-estrogen. Thanks again.

Do you have a family doc? Start there. Schedule an office visit so the lump can be evaluated.

I've studied up on the lumpectomy procedure. From what I know it leaves an empty space that looks terrible so I would prefer not to take that path. May just go see the doc if no one else has any advice on something that may get rid of it.

Just make an appointment with your doctor and explain your symptoms. They will either help you, or refer you to a specialist.

Blood work would indicate if you have high estrogen, but you need NOT to self treat.

Not entirely correct. It really depends on location, size, depth, positive surgical margins, and tissue removed.

I removed a 2cm mass from a 24 year old male and it healed fine. Secondary concern would be if your skin forms keloids - but this is largely an aesthetic issue, not recovery dependent.

    See your MD as advised.
