Lump a couple days after injection?

Hey a buddy of mine is currently running test e 300mg a week and he has this lump on his shoulder that appeared a couple days after he injected. He says it hurts to the touch it was worse when it first appeared it doesn't hurt as much today and yesterday it was slightly red. Would anyone know what this is? Any help would be great I attached two pictures to show you guys. Thanks

Did he massaged the spot after injection?

He may have injected to much into one spot. I've got that before myself. Done 2ml in tri and that happened, then a golf ball size again on leg. It should go down or try massage it. Mite just be a build up that hasn't dispersed

It's just inflamed, which is quite common. If it gets worse and becomes warm to the touch, get some antibiotics, or see a doc.

No he was not massaging it I told him to start doing so. And when he tried to massage the lump it didn't go away. And he's injecting just 1 ml at 300mg/ml
