what does "bump" mean?
i see people just typing "bump" on the boards all the time. what does it mean? and yes... i am an idiot

It's a short way to say, "Bump this to the top because this is a good/important post."
When you reply to a post with "bump" it automatically puts the post on top so others can see it right away. (Whenever you respond to a post it is automatically put at the top of the list.

not trying to flame, but the educational threads talk about stuff like this...there is alot of good info on there that will help you understand more stuff....i know it helped me out alot when i first joined...might want to give it a try...and ill give this a bumpity bump bump
