About to do my first ever pin...

I've never understood why anyone would want to have someone else pin them, I don't' trust people, hell half the time the nurses hurt me when I had them doing it. If your going to go down this road man up and do it yourself or don't do it at all.

The worst part is thinking about it, actually doing it is nothing, it's all mental. This is from someone that has been scared to death of needles most of their lives, no I'm stickin 16 times a week and it's as routine as brushing my teeth. (not all test, but still needles)

I'm scared of needles too bro and I guess it's easier to say that now you're used to it but think back to your first time. I think my hand will be too shaky to do it first myself but maybe in a few weeks.

My first time I got some small needles and practiced, I have a TON of allergy needles, small like for insulin, and practiced sticking, then when I realized it was no big deal, I started doing B12 with the small needles, it was such a "no big deal" that I just went ahead and jumped up to the big needles.

Get you some B12 and practice some IM's first would be my recommendation till you get over the mental part. But I'm not a pro, just passing on info, that's what I did.

You really should just do it your first time and get used to it. If YOU feel like at sometime YOU would like to trust someone to hit your glute because you can't see back there or just want it done, then do it. BUT you need to get over it. Even if it stings or you get PIP, you won't die and you'll walk. If you follow sterile procedures you probably will never have an abscess.

Get over it as MI says you wanna play, you gotta pay. The [price is nothing and it's more valuable to be able to do your self. ...crazy mike

My wonderful wife jabbed me in the ass for the first several weeks of my TRT and then I transitioned to do it myself. I had a real dislike for needles as well. Now I freakishly kind of look forward to it. Once you get used to it and see results you will be ok.

i disagree and would say if you can get someone to do the first couple then go for it. But eventually you will have to do it yourself.

Uhhh...you will definitely get PIP for your first injection; combine virgin muscle with shaky hands and not to mention the benzyl in the oil with UGL...yeah, you're gonna get PIP.
