    Cortisone

Does the steroidal inj cortisone affect a cycle?
Starting test cycle next weekend and just had cortisone in shoulder today.

no it shouldn't, but it might make your injury worse. while on cycle you are getting stronger, and cortisone will mask/suppress your pain, so you'll push hard and pow, a crippling injury. my advice is get healed first then cycle.

^^^x100! Figure out the cause of the pain, treat it, rehabilitate the injured body part, and make the muscle around the injury stronger for preventative measures. Cortisone is only masking the problem unless inflammation is serious enough to require it but then as Bass so rightly pointed out, you very well could push yourself bc you're not getting the feedback of pain from the injury and injure it worse.

Look into stretchin, hot/cold compresses, TPT (trigger point therapy), and read up everything you can by Dr. Kelly Starrett! Best of luck in recovery brother.

I have 'close' joints in my shoulders. I had to have a decompression op on my left and it takes about 2yrs to get over it.
I'm nearly 41 and could would be nearing 45 by time I would be ready for gym again (inc op waiting time) if i needed same on my right.
Doc reckons it could just be an inflamed membrane and the cortisone could cure it.
Its a hard choice to make... coz as you said it masks the pain, but being pain free in the gym is just beautiful!
